Dr. Martinssen is a skilled dentist offering care in all aspects of general dentistry. He attended the University of Southern California and earned his DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree in 2002.
Family dentistry, like general dentistry, provides services related to the general maintenance of oral hygiene and tooth health. Family dentists are responsible for ensuring that plaque buildup around the teeth is kept to a minimum, that tooth decay is eliminated and cavities are filled, and that gums remain healthy.
Cosmetic dentistry has to do with the appearance of teeth and the enhancement of a person's smile. It is more about the art of dentistry, not just the science when it comes to cosmetic dentistry. On the surface, creating white teeth, or even whole new teeth in general, may not appear to be that complicated.
Restorative dentistry is the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of oral diseases to restore a person's mouth to full functionality and aesthetic look. The most common restorative dentistry includes dental crowns, bridgework, esthetic fillings, dentures, veneers, and more! Your dentist may suggest a treatment plan to restore teeth that are decayed, chipped, cracked, discolored or even missing.
If you would like to take care of your forms while in our office, please feel free to do so. We ask that you arrive at least fifteen minutes prior to your visit to make sure you have plenty of time and allowing us to keep your appointment, and the appointments of others, on schedule. My 7-year old had 2 fillings and he came out of the room smiling!

The whole staff here is great! They greet you the minute you walk through the door, by name! They take the time to ask you how you are doing and explain exactly what it is going on after your check up/cleaning or other teeth work. They commend you on how great you’ve been taking care of your teeth and what needs work. They also have some dental products available to purchase that are sometimes even cheaper than going to the store! Definitely a plus when they gift you a bday treat and there are always beverages available in their little fridge :) Been going here since my college days and will

I would highly recommend Cheney Dental Care! I have had terrible experiences with dentist in the past and am SO thankful to have found Dr. Martinssen and his team Everyone from the front desk to the hygienists to the dentist are so friendly and helpful. I have tried other dentist offices in Cheney and this office is by far the best. The entire experience from walking in the door to saying my goodbyes is nothing short of fantastic...Dr. Martinssen is the best dentist I have ever been to. He explains all my options in great detail and is always sure I understand completely what is available and what he recommends. I always feel taken care of and cared about! Great TEAM here!

I went for my regular cleaning/checkup. The staff is super friendly, no long wait for my appointment. Allison was the hygienist and she did a great job, my teeth feel so clean! We had a new dental student as an observer and she did a nice job of engaging her and explaining things she was doing and why. I found it interesting. The doctors exam was quick, we reviewed my options for treatment and making appointments afterwards was quick. Glad I found angreat local dentist.
