I am a seasoned Austin family law attorney with a practice focused on family law and business litigation. While the bulk of my current practice is focused on family law, I also have experience litigating business disputes, including breach of contract, collections disputes, business torts, fiduciary liability, DTPA actions, fraud, and real estate litigation.
Outstanding credentials and experience don't mean very much if they're not backed by the accolades that matter most-results. As an attorney, nothing is more rewarding than a satisfied client. As a consumer of legal services, you face a dizzying array of options. Complicating your choice is that all law firm websites seemingly look the same. They recycle the same themes and platitudes- "aggressive" advocacy, "client focused, " and so forth. Unless you're selecting an attorney based on a trusted referral source, it is difficult to make meaningful and informed distinctions among attorneys in such a crowded, low information environment.
Perhaps one of the most frustrating aspects of searching for a lawyer is the lack of transparency over fees and retainers. The vast majority of lawyers refuse to publish their hourly rates and retainer fees. In my view, this practice is a disservice to lawyer and client alike. Tough. Passionate. Blunt. Dedicated. If you want an attorney who is not intimidated by opposing council, Ben is the right guy. My wife's ex husband is a bully, and thought he could be condescending to her and Ben during deposition, and boy was he mistaken. To begin with, I strongly believe that 5 stars doesn't do justice to the exceptional and professional service that Mr. Ben Carrasco provided during my divorce and Child custody case.
