Welcome to Ken's Family Restaurant where you can enjoy a family friendly meal in a relaxed atmosphere. We offer a diverse food menu including such favorites as our tenderloin tips, Maine lobster, seafood chowder, scallops and seafood fettuccine alfredo. We have a Homestyle Turkey Dinner as well as traditional fare such as hamburgers, hotdogs and a variety of sandwiches.
We serve a beautiful lobster roll that you can even have double stuffed and fresh Maine seafood all fried or broiled to your liking. All of our seafood and chicken (a local favorite) is hand breaded to order. We offer local and domestic beers and several great wines. We are known for large portions, but worry not, we have a light fare menu as well.

Ken and Martha Dionne had a vision and bought the old Fred's Drive-In. Where he started cooking and they grew that business with the help of many family members over the years. We are located on route 201 north, the perfect stop if you are in town, on your way to Lakewood Theater or if you are headed to ski or visit Canada!
All white chicken fingers. Ken's specialty since 1970. Lightly breaded Fingers. Tender strips of sea clams - sweet and juicy! 12 large shrimp served w/ Ken's cocktail sauce. 12 Large Fantail Shrimp Sauteed in a light sauce of crushed garlic, butter, and wine sauce. Sauteed shrimp, sea scallops, haddock and lobster on a bed of fettuccine noodles, blanketed with a creamy Alfredo sauce.

My wife and grandson and his girlfriend was here and we had lunch food was delicious, course I got the "sea monster" and it was plentyful had enough left to bring for lunch in Monday! My family really miss the breakfast buffet. We would bring the 8 grandkids here and the food was so good they couldn't have time to play around they were too busy eating! Thank you for keeping a long standing restaurant going for many years to come!

My husband and I stopped in for a late lunch on our way back from the Primitive Shop in Madison across from the Irving Station on Main Street. We both had delicious meals and a very pleasant, helpful waitress. I had the seafood platter which was overflowing and he had the seafood Alfredo which was a generous portion as well. Our side was onion rings which were divine. Needless to say, neither of us could finish so we brought home what turned out to be another meal. So my friends, should you be traveling through Skowhegan on Route 202 and next to the mall where the Tractor Supply is, I highly recommend

4 adults for lunch. Shrimp and fries, open face turkey sandwich, two BLTS one with a side of onion rings. Drinks of coffee, water and lemonade. Food was served at a correct temperature in a timely manner for the time of day and amount of patrons. Waitress was attentive even though she was busy. Prices were below average. Onions were delicious and didn't have a deep fried taste!!!

When you get to share time with family and eat fresh seafood and have great service what is not to love. Overly generous portions that you will be eating for several days. I have been going to Ken's for what seems like most of my life. It is where friends and family go to celebrate life it is part of Central Maine's fabric and I feel blessed to have so many wonderful memories tied to it. When you go chose to enjoy the time and just relax and take in the experience....
