There’s a lot of good things to say about this practice… I’ve always received very high quality dental work. They run very efficiently and on time. What stands out to me most though is the quality of their hygienists and the kindness of Dr Farokhian. They are wonderful with me and my daughter, and very understanding of challenges that can arise for children coming in to see the dentist as well.

I have visited Dr. Farokhian twice this year, both times in emergencies. Even though I was a visitor to San Diego at the time and not in his patient base, he worked me in both times, welcomed me warmly addressed my problems meticulously. I am now relocating my dental care to San Diego so I can be one of his regulars. It is worth noting that his staff is also exceptional. They are all well-informed about the procedures he performs, how much time they take and special needs. Going to Dr. Farokhian is not just going to the dentist; it is going to an entire capable team.

I was treated by Kristine today (unsure if Dental hygienist or DDS) but she was fantastic. Talked me through the health of my teeth and continuously checked on me if I was having discomfort or issues during my teeth cleaning. This was my second visit and I was a little unsure after the first time but now I am very happy with my visit today. I will definitely return.

I have a severe phobia and fear of going to the dentist. Dr. Farokhian has changed that. He has done one filling, two crowns and bridge replacement for me. He is the best dentist I have ever been to. He explains everything as he goes, continually asks how you are doing and even when he gives Novocain shot it's actually bearable. Previous dentist could not get my mouth numb. Never a problem for Dr. Farokhian. I can not express how relieved and happy I am to see my dental phobia significantly reducing.

Yesterday, I received one of two needed crowns. Dr. Farokhian and his assistant, Chloe, did a remarkable job in a reasonable amount of time. Aside from the whining in my brain from the drill, the procedure was painless. It has been just over 24 hours since the procedure and I can barely tell that anything was done. Believe it or not, I am looking forward to my next visit in two weeks to have the permanent crown installed and the second one fitted. I've been going to this practice for almost twenty years.

This is a wonderful office! The dentist, the hygienists, the front desk staff - all of them are very personable and very good at what they do. I had a small chipped edge on a front tooth, and the doctor did such a good job with the repair that you can't see where it is at all. I also have more than one crown, and there is definitely a difference in the quality of the work (older/inferior ones were done elsewhere.) I met him from a mutual friend and was able to get in the office the next day for a consultation and they were able to x ray me and refer me to a place to get my wisdom teeth extracted! First time here & staff was amazing. My fiancée went in to get a procedure don't & since it was a abnormal procedure we were not able to get it handle at this office. They not only referred us to one oral surgeon down the street, they referred us to 3 options. Called to make the appointment for us on the spot to get us in as soon as possible with someone else. I've been to several dentists I even am married to a ex hy·gien·ist. And all I can say is that if you want some top notch staff and top notch dentistry go see Dr. Farokhian. My wife had two crowns done by him and she was very pleased. I've been having some gum recission issues. Been seeing their talented and gifted hygienist Stephanie and she really cleared it up pronto!!! Stephanie is probably one of the the best hygienists in San Diego after my wife of course (she is retired though). I have continued coming to Dr. Farokhian's Dental Offices since before he took over. It was a smooth transition. Dr. Farokian and all staff cares about each and every person who walks through the door. They take time and care to explain any concerns you may have. The ladies at the front desk take the time to see what your insurance covers and copays may be for your next visit. What I love is when you walk through the door, you are acknowledged right away. I've been coming here for years and I love my experience every single time. When Dr Farokhian took over I wasn't sure how my experience was going to be, but to be honest he's the best dentist I have ever had! He's kind and yet confident in his craft. I feel comfortable every time I'm in his care. I hope he never retires lol! If you're looking for a good dentist, come here. You will be soo happy you made him your dentist. This used to be dr. Wards practice. Beautiful big office. Got a checkup and he only took 30 seconds to look. Very sloppy. You get no personal attention. He said some teeth needed "watching over". I went to another dentist who said I needed fillings. Clearly Farokhian is guilty of a practice used by many dentists. Forgo fillings and wait until the tooth needs a crown so they can charge more money. Dr. Ward was guilty of this too, tried to talk me into a crown but i had him put in a filling instead.

I have been to Dr Farokhian multiple times now for general cleanings, fillings, and teeth whitening. Each time I come here the staff, including Dr Farokhian, are exceptional. From making an appointment over the phone to the moment I check in for an appointment, the staff make the whole process effortless. I really appreciate how this office is open on Saturdays as it is usually so difficult for me to find any kind of medical office open late enough on weekdays for any after-work appointment..
