Be Well Home Health Care
Very often, home health care agencies do not hire their caregivers as "direct employees", thereby not withholding income tax and treating them as "independent contractors". What you MUST KNOW is that caregivers coming to your home as "independent contractors" are most likely not insured for liability as well as work related injuries.

As you can imagine, such risk can be very costly. Because Bee Well Home Health Care hires caregivers as "direct employees", all of our caregivers are. First and foremost, we focus on what is needed and what will make a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families. Each client and family has different needs.
Services
Bee Well Home Health Care, Inc. is a family oriented agency, originated in 2007 and having grown since then primarily due to word of mouth referrals from our existing clients. This positive outcome, continuously expressed by our clients is what drives us to excel and enjoy what we do. We pride ourselves on having met the highest level of home health agency certification.

For some, companionship and friendship is appropriate, while for others, daily errands and transportation may be needed. Then there are those who may require a bit more personal care-giving.
Do you have minimum number of hours? Do you provide transportation? Do you offer on-call service so we can reach someone after hours? Which services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid, Long Term Insurance and if I pay privately? We are often asked if we have a minimum number of hours per day or week.
From Marty, Caregiver - I would like to express my gratitude and complement Bee Well Home Health Care for providing outstanding service to my family. We are very grateful for your professionalism and are extremely happy with your staff, your understanding of our needs and your prompt response, whenever needed.

This is great company. Our grandmother has been in their care for almost 4 years now. The caregivers we’ve had were great, except one which was immediately replaced. Our concerns are always heard, and they do a great job dealing with our insurance. We never had a problem or a surprise. Very grateful to Bee Well and would highly recommend.

So I would just like to say that my service that I received was highly unprofessional and unacceptable the head nurse was discharging my mother when she arrived she was very rude and as she was discharging her she repeatedly said that all the machines to check her blood pressure, temperature and diabetes were “broken”. She spent a total of five minutes with my mom and didn’t even care to know if my mom was okay. A women who cares about her job should have the consent to check everything before going to a patient.

Let me start by saying that this Home Health Company is dreadful. As far as professionalism, service, or human decency. First off the office manger is just plain rude and does not work you as meaning your loved one or yourself if service is offered to you. The services that were offered to my loved one were physical therapy & skilled nursing. Now as physical therapist I had to be on top of the therapist to do their job. Trust me it was the bare minimum of therapy. Keep looking at the clock. Even left my mom unattended, god for bid if she fell on the therapist watch. Dare i say the therapist came

There seem to be a high staff turn over. It's been a little over 5 weeks with them and I've had 4 different unreliable aides and I've had to take PTO 6+ times to care for my father. The customer service rep was so arrogant last time I called you'd think they're volunteering. I guess they have more patients/jobs than they want so they can afford to offend their patients.
The first aide lasted 2 days and did not return
The 2nd was ok until I changed the schedule I was informed she'd not be returning the next day
The 3rd lasted less than a week as she had an appt and I was given 1 hour notice

Terrible customer service skills. Had two big surgeries. Needed physical therapy. My insurance company recommended them. YUCK. Started calling 24 August!! Today is 15 Sept. They could not get their act together. Never seemed like it mattered that I needed help/physical therapy/NEED TO START HEALING???!!! Marella was the one that answered phones seemed very lax on her job skills, kept telling me my Dr never faxed them the written rx for PT. My doctor confirmed they did it twice. So I gave up, got the Rx myself in 3 days got another Physical Therapy place/appt. Do not use this place!!! Guess what

I have been using this Agency for the last 2 months and I am very impressed with this company from the owner to all the therapist and staff that work for them. Everyone is professional, kind, personable and are excellent at what they do. I have had nurses, physical and occupational therapist come to my home. It's always nice to work with a company that has great service and is courteous and has great communication skills. I recommend them highly.

The caring, customer service, & putting the patients first doesn't occur with Be Well's office employees. The medical staff is the best. Without patients the agency would close. Could be the the best in the county.

Extremely disorganized. Caregivers are left to fend for themselves. Caregivers will be forced to do the work or coordinators as well as their own job. The coordinators/staff members give little to no information about the patient/client before your visit. They instead give you the client's address and phone number so you can hunt them down yourself which is extremely ridiculous 😠. All information is confusing and disorganized. The pay they provide is basic $10 and the cases are almost always 4hrs or less. No one can survive on this. The staff are so needy when they call for your assistance.

For 6 years, Bee Well has provided care for my now 95 yr old Mother. Since we live in different states I have relied on their knowledge, expertise and integrity. Michael Guzman, owner has provided counsel to help me better understand how I can participate in my Mother's care from a distance. He has always answered my calls and we have met during my trips to FL. The two CNA's have been with my Mother for 4 and 6yrs respectively. That says a lot abut the quality of people hired by Bee Well.

For many years now, I’ve been handling all aspects of my grandmother’s home care, her private caregiver and the occasional nurse and therapy she gets from time to time. Needless to say, I’ve dealt with many home health agencies. Had my share of good, bad and the ugly. We switched to Be Well only a few months ago but I can say that hands down, this is the agency that does it right. From my first conversation with the owner to dealing with their scheduler (Arlene – you are amazing by the way and we love you!) our needs have been heard and addressed. That’s what matters and sets you guys
