Inspire Specialty Hospital is a 31 bed Long Term Acute Care Hospital. This facility has been serving the Oklahoma City areas and rural communities since 1998. We are accredited by The Joint Commission and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, with whom we collaborate to provide and promote safe and effective care.

All t e c h s, nurses, doctors and case managers, especially mindy; are all phenomenal. They each have helped in their own special way helping me grow and learn new mechanisms with my disease. They got my wound care almost perfect, I went in with a three and I left with a 0.5, that feels like Christmas every day to me, the blessing that they gave to me. They took away fear, they gave me hope and confidence. Please do not send anyone you love to this place. We have had a loved one go to this place from OU. They had to send them back to OU 3 times. Every time OU gets our loved one. They call and tell us that Inspire has neglected the care of our loved one. They didn’t come straight out and tell us that they did. But they did explain the issues our loved one had, could have been mitigated, had our loved one had better care. Care that I have seen as negligent. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! Within 24 hours of our loved one at OU, we get answers that they have had a serious illness, sometimes

I would just like to take time out to thank the wonderful people at inspire who are taking care of my Wife A.K.A (BOSSLADY) & Queen of 32 yrs🙏.. You Guys have been a God sent for us All who Love her Soo much ❤ On 7-16-20 Our Lives were turned upside down when My Wife suffered a Massive seizure which Despite Mine, paramedics and ER efforts Doing CPR after flat lining on us twice and bringing her back unfortunately ended up after ICU efforts with almost 100% of her brain having Irreversible

Please do not send your loved ones here!! As another reviewer mentioned, closer does not mean better. We unfortunately allowed location to weigh in our decision. Luckily location meant we were able to be there often and we were able to quickly find they were not trying to get my loved one better but were instead sedating him so he would have to stay longer.

I can't stress how grateful your staff has been to us. My daughter came in with a Trach on the 10/25 with 8 day her Trach was taking out. She was also on a ventilator with 6 days or less she was off of it. With the help of your great loving staff we couldn't have made it this far. Everyone has made us feel like family.
Doctor nurses and all employees here has made a huge impact on our life. Without your great staff I don't know where we would be. Please make sure staff are Recognized.

My grandfather was sent here after being on a ventilator in the ICU for a few days. The nurses treated him like he was their family. The Doctors were very thorough & explained everything to the family well. Physical therapy was involved in his treatment daily & the social worker insured he had a very smooth transfer to his next facility. I highly recommend this facility for your family members continued care!

My sister came here from ICU on a ventilator, I was concerned just by the look's of the place. I spent the night with her several night's off and on. Just after only 3 days she had bed sores on her butt. They were not there in ICU, and the nurse's tried to put it off on the ICU!!! Her husband and I were very upset first off because she had them, but then they tried to say it wasn't their fault. After being there for 3 week's she developed a bed sore on the back of her head that by the time anyone noticed it she had staph in it. At night it sounded like they were having a party at the nurse's station

Great place to take a loved one if you want excellent care. My father-in-law was placed here and was taken care of so well. They treated him as if he were their family and overall appearance wise this hospital is not bad. The staff members were all friendly and on top of their jobs. I give them five stars! Thank you all for getting my dad back on the road to recovery! God bless you all.

Mom was on the breathing machine for almost 4 weeks before transferring to this specialized hospital. Took them about 8 days to get her off and she transferred to a rehab nursing home for more therapy and is now at an assisted living hospital. Biggest question is why do hospitals wait so long before they send people to the specialist such as this place. 85% of the staff is wonderful, a few just arent cut out for this line of work. They performed a miracle getting mom off the breathing machine. Noisy at times, especially at night. Sometimes slow responding to call lights at night.
