We are a DevaCurl trained salon, and will be cutting your hair dry followed by a lesson on how to rehydrate and style your hair for your natural pattern.
Expertise: Megan specializes in color, curly hair, and can work her magic on any color, ranging from bold to beautifully blended blonds. Shadie is a dependable professional with over twenty-five years of hair and makeup experience. Self-motivated with outstanding time management and organizational prowess. Sandy is a meticulous artist, that prides herself in making her clients look and feel their best. Her devoted passion is working with all hair textures, long or short. My curls turned out great however I specifically asked her to keep my length. being that I have been growing it out for 3+ years. That did not happen, I left the studio in tears with hair just barely past my shoulders even after specifically saying to keep it longer. It absolutely breaks my heart after years and years of not cutting it for this fear to come true. I wish she would have listened to me. And now i have 3+ years of length and confidence gone..

I've been seeing Sandy for 18 years! Yep! I'm loyal because she's amazing! My teen daughter just started seeing her this year as well and loves her too! She started off never wanting to get her hair cut and now she wants to go all the time. You can't see our cuts very well, but we love them! Sandy is also very knowledgeable about hair and products and I am clueless so that's a bonus!

I have been seeing Julia McBride at The Station for over 10 years. I have also seen other stylists there when Julia was unavailable. The energy in the salon is positive, friendly and professional. Julia is extensively trained (as are all of the stylists) and I have trusted her knowledge and artistry for a very long time. The expertise, product lines, and personality of this salon is top notch. Choosing a new hairstylist is nerve-wracking, especially when you just moved to Denver from a different state and had the same stylist for 6 years. Sandy is phenomenal. I am 39 and finally after countless stylists and 5 states, I have found my forever stylist. She listens to what you’re asking for, and then delivers. I know the station and Sandy are known for their curly cuts, but Sandy does a great straight cut that allow me to wash and style once per week while looking good all week long. I have been coming here to get my haircut since they opened. I work directly with Jeanna and she has been nothing short of amazing. I get exactly what I ask for each time. The atmosphere is on point, they are super safe with temp checks, and they ask you to wash your hands prior to the appointment. Karen at the front desk reminds me of my appointments, and makes me feel super welcome, all the time. I would highly recommend this place for a mens cut, women's cut, or curly hair (which I do not have, but they specialize in)!! Thanks to the Station Hair Studio I always look and feel my best.

I got a Deva haircut from Jeanna and it was my best cut experience to date. I have gotten Ouidad and Deva cuts before and never really like the end result. The cutting and careful shaping are great but never liked the end result in terms of finished styling. It always looked like plastic, stringy curls. Curls have memory so it takes over a month to recover. However, Jeanna really listens to the client's wants and has the expertise to deliver results. It was the first time I left a salon with a great haircut and fluffy and defined curls.

About two years ago, I dyed by curly hair for the first time. I got it done at a non-curly salon, and it didn't really accentuate my curls or work with my curl pattern, but honestly I didn't really know any better. When I moved out to Colorado about a year ago I decided to splurge on getting it re-dyed, and I found The Station because of all the great curly hair reviews. Well, they are right. I absolutely loved my color and it made my curls look very accentuated and gorgeous. I can't say enough good things about this salon. I've always been extremely particular about who cuts my hair since it's so thick and long. This last time I wanted to donate it and was worried that my hair would be far too poofy with it being short. Julia was able to tame my waves and curls and I've never loved a hair cut as much as I do right now. I'm even looking into getting another cut and going shorter since this worked out so well. I have been on my curly girl journey now since June, and I was beyond ready but also a little hesitant to make the jump to a Deva Cut. I researched for a long time before finally deciding to start trying to find a salon that specialized in curly cuts. Do not go to this salon. I saw Shadie Lujan two weeks ago after I had grown out my bangs and layers and needed a trim. She cut my bangs straight across with scissors and no layering, leaving the bangs super uneven. She also tried to frame my face way to far back into my hairline, behind my ears. I went to another girl at a different salon to get it fixed, who took the following photos before doing her best to fix it.
I then reached back out to the salon several times via phone and was kept on hold for over 10 minutes, told I would get a callback and never got a call back. This happened 3 times

Mary is a great stylist. She looked at my hair, asked me the right questions and then worked her magic. Her shampoo/conditioning head massage was so good, I had a hard time holding a conversation, and I'm rarely at a loss for words.
For curly hair they use the Deva process, which is a dry cut. They are willing to do it differently, but that seems to be the standard. I've been to Deva salons, and I've learned how to make their process work for me. I'm a little high maintenance with my curls. I like big hair, I like it diffused a certain way, I like my curls to be shaken.

I was fairly happy to get a quick appointment on a whim and come out with purple hair. That was Monday. Its now Wednesday and my purple hair is half purple and half the highlights I was trying to get rid of. I did want subtle and she did tell me they were going to rinse out but this is a bit fast.
Still I enjoyed the company and the stylist, I do like this salon on first whim and impression.

Once again, Jeanna has transformed my dull, flat ringlets into wild and multidimensional curls! Two weeks after my appointment, my color is still super vibrant and my curls full of life!
