Shaolin Kung Fu Zen guides students towards harmony of spirit and body along a path to achieve personal goals. Shaolin Kung Fu combines physical discipline and movement with Zen meditation during extensive practice. We promote modern martial arts methods and moral integrity, so students benefit from Shaolin philosophy and traditional Chinese Shaolin culture.
Shaolin Kung Fu Zen teaches students of all ages (4 years old to senior citizens) and body types. Our teaching is tailored to age and aptitude. Our curriculum includes Northern and Southern style of Kung Fu, Sanda, Wushu, and Tai Chi exercises.

While working with kids, we consider every child's cognitive skills and attention span to help them grow at their own pace. Naturally, the level advancements depend on each child's age and cognitive abilities. The Kids Kung Fu Program gives a child a martial arts foundation and understanding of Kungfu and its philosophy.
The Sanda (Kick Boxing) admission to the Sanda Program requires candidates to be Kungfu green belt or higher. Sanda, also known as Chinese Kick Boxing, allows students to understand the practical meanings of the Kung Fu traditional hand forms. Sanda is the study of attack/defense; it teaches martial arts students the art of combat and how to deal with adversaries.
During test some students become more serious and active than in their normal classes. Students who are pushed out of their regular routine will sometimes work harder. We make our students remember this feeling as much as possible so they can be more self motivated. We also use tests to know what areas our students are talented at or weak in.

The event was quite exciting and successful. During this celebration, we've had food, performances, Lion Dance, cultural exchanges and interactive games. The event will be from 11:00 am - 12:30pm. This is a good opportunity for our students to go around showing off their Halloween Costumes to their friends in Kungfu and win a little bit of extra candy.
