Our dual-language immersion program is taught by native speakers that are fully bilingual in both Spanish and English. Our play-based program emphasizes hands-on learning, cultural exploration and artistic expression. Thank you for your interest in World City Center! It is our hope that children who join our program will learn through play while they are here and that they will take with them a love of learning when they leave us for kindergarten. We organically facilitate all modes of learning through our hands-on activities, morning circles, cultural experiences, discussions, music and movement and especially through, what we consider the most important part of preschool: PLAY.

World City Center is a Dual-Language Preschool located in the West Adams area of Los Angeles, California. We offer a constructivist approach to learning that addresses the whole child while encouraging curiosity and meaning making. We are play-based and present many opportunities for cross-cultural exploration and anti-bias education.

Brittie started this whole adventure when she decided to open a home daycare from her home in 2008. Her home-based program quickly grew and 6 years later World City Center was born to provide a play-based, dual-immersion environment for the community of South LA.
With her 14 years experience and a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Pacific Oaks College she brings that black girl magic to WCC and an unwavering passion for early education.Ms. Debbie has been at WCC since our first year. A necessary ingredient, she has worked every age group and loves them all, but has a special place in her heart for the lovable two's.

Join us for a group tour! We host group Prospective Parent tours on the first Wednesday of January through May and again in September and October. We would love to show you our space and how we navigate our play-based, dual-language environment every day. Our enrollment process starts in January of every year.
