Welcome to the new patient center for Gem City Chiropractic! We understand that arriving at a chiropractic office for the first time can be nerve racking. If you've never experienced chiropractic care before, you may not know what to expect when you come to our Centerville chiropractic office for the first time.
In some ways, one could say that chiropractic care is a bit like building a house - certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work together correctly. When building a house, if you tried to build your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually may even collapse.
Next, you will have a consultation with Dr. Nathan Baxter to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. This initial visit is designed for Dr. Nathan Baxter to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals.
Most people are under the assumption that if they don't feel any pain that there is nothing wrong with them - that they are healthy. Unfortunately, pain is a very poor indicator of health. In fact, pain and other symptoms frequently only appear after a disease or other condition has become advanced.
Most chiropractors regard the elimination of symptoms as the easiest part of a persons care. If all that the chiropractor does is to reduce the pain and stop there, the chances of the condition recurring are much greater. In order to prevent a rapid recurrence of symptoms, it is necessary to continue receiving care even though your symptoms are gone.

Such a great experience and environment. Dr. Baxter is one of a kind. My body was in major need and I’ve been in the health and fitness industry for years and I’m used to being OVER sold when I look into a new facility. There is zero fluff here. I was impressed when there was no pressure, short and sweet answers and nothing to be oversold about. Down to earth Dr who truly just wants you to feel better. Within a few weeks I’m sleeping better, moving better, brain fog diminished. Looking forward to continuing my progress.

I am a new patient of Dr. Baxters. Prior to coming here I had seen another chiropractor for about 10 years. I own my own cleaning business and the physical activity and constant bending and twisting can really do a number on the body. Dr. Baxter cares about his patients and their health. He works with your schedule and addresses your needs. His staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and his facility is state of the art. I don't think I have ever enjoyed my medical visits more than I have here. Having never visited a chiropractor before, I was skeptical and nervous. However, he's earned my trust, and I feel better in his care. If you are having pain and are considering a chiropractor, you should give this practice a try.

Traveling for work and staying in different hotels has been hard on my back. Upoj searching for the best chiropractor in the area, I came across Gem City Chiropractic. I could tell from the initial phone call that I was going to like the friendly staff. They took very good care of me while in Dayton. Dr. Baxter's adjustments were spot on. I would leave the office feeling like I could lift two elephants. If you need your back "fixed," definitely give them a call!

Dr. Baxter is a great chiropractor. He really takes the time to hear out your problems and work with you to fix them. He figures out what is actually wrong with you with X-rays on your first visit so he can set up a plan to make people healthy again. I have been seeing Baxtor for about a month. I had severe headaches when I started going and he fixed that problem right away which was amazing!!! I have not had a headache since. My back feels wonderful as well. I always leave there feeling like a new person after he adjust me. I highly recommend this Dr. he is highly intelligent and his entire office
