Konicki Schumacher Chiropractic is a family practice, caring for infants from the beginning of life to adults well into their 90s. The Clinic's emphasis is directed to orthopedic conditions, treating your spine, joints, muscles and nerves with manipulation, physical therapy and rehabilitation exercise.
Q: What can I expect on my first visit? A: After filling out your paper work, we take a history to include your overall health as well as your complaint. Our staff will take your vitals and we perform our examination. X-rays are taken in the region of your complaint. We may use ultrasound and electrical stimulation to help calm your area down.
We use chiropractor techniques that require no force and are very gentle, such as Activator, Flexion/Distraction (Cox) and Drop (Thompson). We also use manual manipulation (Diversified, Gonstead) for those that choose more aggressive treatments. We are whole-body physicians, treating all joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons and nerves in your body.

Dr Schumacher is very thorough and diagnoses the root of the problem with the right treatment plan. I had pain in my hip, leg and knee. She has been treating me and I felt better after just one session. Also there was no pressure to undergo treatment. But I’m very happy I did and am already seeing progress after one week

Dr.Schumacher treated me for a rotator cuff issue in a quick and efficient manner. She was patient, listened and always had great advice. I would not have been able to deal with an impending move had she not helped me in time. All of the staff from the front desk to the PTs were friendly and efficient keeping the place running like clockwork. I even had the chance to receive therapy from Dr.Konicki once and he was great too!

Dr. Konicki has been treating me for three and one-half years after being referred by a friend. I had, past tense intended, chronic discomfort at the base of my neck and in my lower back for years and today it is non-existent; I never thought I would feel like this again. I go for what I call a tune-up every four to six weeks and it keeps me operating smoothly. I'm so happy with my results! After P.T. couldn't help me any more my doctor sent me to Dr. Konicki, he found the solution. As my treatment moved forward more things popped up, and he wasn't fazed at all! Dr. Konicki knew how to treat it and it was all logical and straight forward, nothing mysterious. I am VERY impressed with this practice. I experienced pain in my hip intermittently for about 3 years. I had never been to a Chiropracter, but a friend at my work highly recommended them. I made an appointment with Dr. Schumacher and went twice a week for 3 weeks. I am delighted to say that I have experienced an improvement of 90-95%. The office is professional and clean. The staff is competent, courteous, and friendly. I'm just sorry I didn't try it sooner!

Dr. Schumacher has done an incredible job on a recurring neck issue. My neck has not felt this balanced in years. My body responds to less aggressive methods of chiropractor care and she definitely understands the intricacies of each person because of her diligene in listening to issues and thoroughness in finding the root issues to correct. I appreciate the care and concern and the overall positive atmosphere of the office.
