The Karp Law Firm's Florida elder law and estate planning attorneys help Florida seniors and families cope with the legal challenges we face as we age. Our law firm team is headed by Attorney Joseph S. Karp, one of an elite group of Florida attorneys who holds both Florida Bar certification and national certification in elder law.
At the Karp Law Firm, we help families plan for life's inevitabilities. Estate Planning is reflected in legal documents that give shape to our preferences during life, and to our instructions for the distribution of property when we pass away. In this pursuit, our lawyers create wills, living trusts, durable powers of attorney, special needs trusts, and design wealth transfer and tax planning strategies.

Her Medicaid practice is centered on helping clients qualify for Medicaid assistance for paying for nursing home and long-term care facility payments.

The Karp Law Firm could not have been any more professional and caring with me. After having Covid , realized my will was not up to par in todays legalize world. Cara Stropp did a Zoom conference twice and the entire process was completed in 30 days. I am totally happy with the experience. I will happily refer anyone to the Firm . Sincerely, Cliff

Very pleased with every interaction. Emails and phone calls were answered immediately. My son came with me and I was impressed that the initial interview was done without him to confirm that I was not unduly influenced. Shortly thereafter he was permitted to join the conversation which was quite convivial and pleasant and dealt with the personal and financial complexities of my circumstances.

We engaged Jonathan to create a Trust package for us. His firm delivered on all fronts as promised. To me, attorneys are foxhole guys, it's not the cost, although Karp is competitive, but did I get what I needed, what I wanted. Yes and yes. The firm is large enough that there is a wealth of resources yet still small enough for the personal touch.

I am a Board Certified Marital & Family law attorney and when I come across a estate planning or elder law matter in my practice I refer it to Jonathan and the Karp law firm without hesitation. This is because I know they will ensure that every client I refer will receive the same high level of care and attention that I strive to provide to the clients in my divorce law practice.
There are plenty of lawyers who know the law, but few who provide the type of "bedside manner" that clients deserve. I feel that a high level of service towards clients makes all of the difference. Jonathan and his firm

Mr Karp and his staff are wonderful. It gives me great comfort in knowing my affairs are in order and my family is protected. He took the time to LISTEN to me and my concerns, and provided every answer to every question. I am very happy he is my lawyer. I have recommended many friends and family members to him as well and every one of them thanked me He has to be the wisest man I ever met in my life.

When we moved from New York to Florida we had to find an attorney to redo legal documents since Florida laws are different from NY. We had gone to a presentation about trusts in NY and they recommended The Karp Attorneys in Del Ray Beach. We found them very professional and answered all our questions and took care of our legal documents for Florida. Price was reasonable too. When we went back to pick up all our papers, I couldn't get over how professional it was. Everything was explained to us and answered any questions we had and put all our legal documents in a binder. Also we could call them
