This company has changed it's name from Avis Heating and Air Conditioning to try to hide all the bad reviews. In 2017 they tried to take my 90 year old mother for $12,000 by telling her that her AC unit was pulling too many amps and would catch fire if she continued to use. Tech showed her pics of units that had burned to scare her. They had previously taken her for a few thousand dollars but this time I was able to stop the transaction before she agreed to it. This all transpired when they were at her house to do the $69 tune up. I called another A/C repair company to check her unit and there

My thanks to Chris, Michael, Oscar and the tram at Avis. Here we are in the midst of a heat wave and the guys got my cooling / air conditioning situation resolved within 48 hours. Nobody likes spending money on ductwork as you can't see it or show it off, but your house sure knows it's been done and hopefully my electric bills decrease too!!! Thanks again.

Took them up on a $69 tune up promotion. The technician was on time and friendly. He checked out my unit and said it's too old, the refrigerant no longer available, and nothing he can do. Tried to quote me $12-16k to replace the unit and hvac which I was interested in learning about our options. Yet he refused to give us a discount for the "$69 tune service" which he hardly done anything except for trying to sell us the new unit I was like fine I'll pay but that will be it. Will not use Avis for any future service or replacing the unit.

Chris came out yesterday to diagnose and fix an issue with our floor drain backing up. Chris was very knowledgeable, clearly explained the cause of the issue, and correctly diagnosed it within a few minutes. He offered three different estimates for different repairs, and I chose the option that best fit our budget.
His professionalism was exceptional and he was able to clear the clog quickly. He even showed me with the camera that the drain was now clear. Before leaving, he cleaned up the area he had worked in and offered tips on preventing the issue from happening again. He also gave an estimate

We had two AC units that decided to take an indefinite vacation in the middle of June. I called Avis and Chris came out. He was amazing! He addressed my concerns without writing me off as an idiot, and immediately went out of his way to get the AC fixed. He was honest and gave us tips on maintaining our new units. We decided to replace both units and got an unbeatable quote!
Lorenzo came out the next day, did the installation, cleaned up after himself, and left when he said he would. I 100%recommend these guys!!! Thank you Lorenzo and Chris!

It was a pleasure to work with Avis. We were having problems with both of our A/C units and after giving them a call late in the evening, they came out the next day and quickly figured out what was causing the problem.
They explained a few potential solutions to fix our old heating system and Enrique had all the necessary parts in his truck. We ended up replacing a blow fan and topping off both A/Cs with freon. We’ll replace our system next year and Avis will be the only company we’ll call!
Everyone, from the receptionist to the techs, were highly professional, knowledgeable, and helpful

Mike and his crew are a great team of AC installers! From now on, Avis has my business and I will refer them to all my friends and fam. Mike recharged my freon pretty quickly and told me how to spot problems with the condenser. After taking a look at the AC, he found a few loose parts and fixed it up for free. Call anyone else, and they’ll charge you just for asking a question!

Had them come out for some issues we were having with the AC unit. They sent out an associate named Chris A, and he was more than phenomenal. He was very kind, patient, informative, and helpful. He was very professional while at the same time came off as your "friendly neighborly handy man". I was able to find answers as to why my machine was acting up, and the different routes I could take in repairing my machine and getting my issues solved. Company is very fortunate for having Chris as one of their team members! Very satisfied with my appointment earlier this morning.

My grandmother used this service, they came out to inspect her air conditioning unit. It was working fine just an annual inspection. He tore the unit apart, damaged panels and the ductwork going into the attic. Left it in pieces and told her it needed repairs. Quoted her 650 for a quick fix and even more for it to be "done right". Now she's paying thousand to repair the damage this company did. The unit was installed in 2015, nothing was wrong with it just needed to be serviced. Do not hire this company, they take advantage of old lady's.

On one of the warmer days last week, and in preparation for the upcoming summer months, I turned on my ac to cool my house only to find it wasn't working! Based on a recommendation of a family member, I called Avis Home Solutions, and I'm very glad I did. The technician arrived on time for my appointment, and was very respectful of my home. This company was offering a $69 special fall tune-up and called me to see if I was interested. Because my a/c just stopped working (fan was blowing but had no cool air), I decided to take them up on their offer. I made an appointment. Their technician could not make it during the window-of-time they allotted, so I canceled the appointment. They continued to call to reschedule and I finally made a 2nd appointment. The tech was on time. He looked at the outside unit and then asked to see the attic, where the furnace and a/c coil/filter are housed. When he was finished with his inspection

Jorge Cardenas first contacted us in February 2020 asking if we needed maintenance on our HVAC system. We decided that would be a good idea, and Jorge scheduled a service appointment for us. As soon as the company's technician walked through the door he realized we had a BIG problem. Turns out rats had invaded our attic, had chewed holes through the ductwork, and were living INSIDE our HVAC ducting! AHHHH!!!!! The gentleman who helped me out was named Enrique, he not only identified the problem right away, but explained to me the reasons behind it and how to prevent it in the future. I will definitely be letting my friends and family know that Avis Home Solutions is the place to go.

He came to my home for a service and notified me that he could repair the unit. He walked me through what would be needed and how to maintain the current unit of my ac. I then asked if he could replace my unit by me purchasing a new one since the maintenance of the old unit seemed like a hassle.
He showcased me several options but recommended me a unit best for my home layout.
The work was done nicely. No issues.
He was also nice to my kids despite my kids asking him a bunch of questions
