Ask your server about menu items that are cooked to order or served raw. Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness. We proudly feature our bottled wines at boutique retail prices instead of traditional restaurant mark-ups. This wine jumps out of the glass with aromas of fresh black cherry and plum.

Great food, great service, intimate atmosphere. I can't wait to go back again. We started with the mixed board, which was explained in detail by our amazing server, Natalie. We then had the brussels sprouts and squash- both of which were prepared wonderfully. Then had the Denver steak which was prepared exactly to our liking. We were there celebrating a birthday and they treated us to a wonderful Salted Carmel Budino. It has been a long time since we've had this nice of a dining experience.

We are new to the area and wanted some lace in between both homes. We chose Toasted Oak, Located in the Baronette renaissance Hotel. You can enter the restaurant from the parking lot, without going through the lobby. Upon entering you are in a small eating/retail space with the bar on the far wall. Aaron is the bartender. He is the highlight of our visit. He is engaging and interesting. He made a gin and tonic for me and a bourbon for my husband. We ordered the marinated olives for a snack. Once our friends arrived, we were shown to our table. Natalie was our server. She took new drink orders and

Happened upon this place while staying at the Renaissance in Novi. What a surprise, not only did have Brittany servers delicious Bar menu, they also had an extensive wine selection, I want to watch shopping in a small store. When I return to Detroit Michigan for my next business trip I definitely will stay at this hotel and most definitely will visit this restaurant again!

I was in Detroit for business for a few days and had most of my meals at the Toasted Oak. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind for each meal.
I needed assistance after returning home when I realized I did not have receipts for my meals, the Food Director, Jason, came through for me and I'll be coming back if I'm ever in town again.

We loved Toasted Oak when we lived on the west side, but hadn't been in a few years. While the service and ambience live up to the memory, and the food is very good, we miss the menu options that made it go from 'good' restaurant to 'great'. Their dessert menu is severely lacking, and I really missed the budino and cookie board. I know places have really cut back on offerings, but between the changed desserts and the complete lack of vegetable side dishes (potatoes are not a vegetable) - which they were AMAZING at in previous years, that part was a let down.

My wife and I live in Northville and we’re just looking for places to have brunch. We randomly ended up here and I have to say, it was probably the best American classic breakfast I’ve ever had. I can’t speak for other menu items, but they crushed this classic plate, amazing everything. Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture as it was gone fast. My only suggestion to them would be more bread choices, as their white was a tad “dainty”.
Other wise one of the more memorable brunch experiences I’ve had in a long time. Do not sleep on this place if you’re close by.

Wow. What a treat. What a find. In the hotel too boot. The soup. Oh the soup. Bright Green. Must be healthy right?
That was my lunch. Soup and the charcuterie board. Blew me away.
My server was excellent. Professional and the perfect amount of conversation.
It would be a treat to stay there again and enjoy their vast wine offering and have dinner too. All around, an excellent experience.

The butchers board was certainly my favorite. Every thing on its own and paired was surperb.
We ordered the Cloudfall Pinot Noir and it was not what you would expect when ordering a Pinot noir but we understood why it was so highly recommend. It's extremely light with a bit of a zip, there was no trace of wine hangover the next morning and normally after just one glass I feel a hangover from wine.
The chicken and Kale dish was just a warm salad, it wasn't bad but we weren't expecting a salad.
The Grilled Rutabaga had amazing flavor but I think it would be better with a bit

We have been regulars here for years, but the food and service have taken a nosedive and we won't be back. It used to be a unique restaurant with great farm to table entrees, good drinks and great service. None of those things apply anymore, sadly. Our server basically ignored us the entire night and didn't even bother to refill our water. My salad was a bowl of lettuce drowned in salty, bitter dressing. My steak entree was OK, but nothing special. My wife's chicken was over cooked and dry. The desserts were a joke. "Fried ice cream" consisted of a bowl of ice cream with

We wanted some fried chicken delivered by door dash. Toasted Oak is one of our favorite restaurants and we saw fried chicken was on its menu. It's not always on the menu, although I seem to recall a pretty good fried chicken and waffle was on its brunch weekend menu.
The fried chicken was delivered quickly to our house on a Thursday night. It was expensive, at $38 an order. We had been thinking about the fried chicken all day and were excited to try it. Both orders came with a very generous side of Brussels sprouts. They were tasty, but, they were Brussels sprouts. The truffle mashed potato

We went here for brunch on a Sunday, just before noon and the place was pretty slow. It was a nice, calm atmosphere with low lighting and was made cozy by the giant fireplaces on the walls near our table. The menu was great. Lots of options, including vegetarian, and everything was a little bit on the expensive side. I got the breakfast burger and Green tea. The burger was great, the tea was alright.
What got this a 3 star is the fact that our server disappeared for about 30 minutes. We ended up having to flag down a busboy to help us find our server. The staff was all very kind, it was just disappointing

Inky thing decently good was the bruschetta fruit bread and the eggs Benedict.
Service was terrible. When I say terrible I mean - server wasn't coming back. We waited about 40 minutes before we can even order our actual meals. We asked for cream for our coffees from 2 different servers and even the hostess and nothing! To the point where I got up and went to the bar and literally asked for some creamer for coffee and walked my way over to my table doing a servers job. Never got a refill on coffee. By the time I got the creamer for the coffee our coffees were all cold.
We ordered :
-sticky

For a restaurant that has a $214 wagu tomahawk steak on the menu..this was a very underwhelming experience.
Everything took forever to come out. My chartreuse platter went right back after we saw hair in one of the cheeses. They did apologize and brought out a larger one as an apology but it took another 20 minutes. My pork belly appetizer looked deceptively delicious but was very dry with almost no fat....which is the opposite of what this dish was supposed to be.
We had a large party of 12 and one waitress that was forever missing. The restaurant missed out on a very big bar tab because we

This restaurant was one of my favorite in the area that I would make a point of visiting every time I was in town for business over the last seven years. But earlier this year the executive chef left and the new chef stumbled out of the gate. When I went in February the food was really terrible with completely mismatched flavors, you could tell the new chef was trying to figure out how to make his mark on the menu. So I go back again three months later to see if things have improved. In many ways they have, their menu is much more coherent and the presentation is suitably rustic. The service (never

Loved this Marriott hotel where Toasted Oak Grill & Market is located in.
First of all, the decor of the hotel is very trendy, warm and inviting with fireplaces throughout the lobby and lounge. Lots of large sofas for seating. The restaurant is very unique. One area is a bit more formal and another section of the restaurant has a rustic, country feel. Lovely decor throughout and very consistent with the theme.
The service is EXCELLENT. From the time they greeted us to the time they brought our meal to us, the servers are very attentive. This hotel gave us vouchers for breakfast every morning
