1/28/22 The lamb shawarma sandwich was DELICIOUS, freshly made, yummy, flavorful They’ve raised their prices quite considerably,( sandwich $6 - dinners $21) so I’m not able to eat here as often as I would like- We used to get dinner 2-3 times a week- but they’ve kept the quality and service💜 I would still choose them over their competitors

Very impressed with not only the FOOD and SERVICE, but the Overall hospitality from this restaurant. I had trouble setting up a reservation online so we were going to take our chances and just go. What a great surprise that the restaurant actually saw my difficulty and called me right back to confirm they have the reservation set even though the system was having slight issues at the time I was trying to make it. It's nice when people go the extra mile to make you feel invited and welcome to their business. I highly recommend this establishment!! Excellent!!!

Me and my family all agree it is our new local "goto" restaurant for middle eastern food! We could tell the food was full of love and flavor, not fat and filler. All of the employees had smiles and were very nice to my elderly parents and even brought my mom extra lemmons for her water ❤
Very good garlic sauce also!!

I decided to order out my 50th b-day party and took to Yelp reviews to help me pick a place near my new neighborhood... and once again it didn't disappoint!
U ordered 2 party trays for 8. I snagged a few shrimp and a lamb chop before the guests arrived and OMG the flavor was right on point!! SOOOO good! I had food left over afterward and got to try more... everything was flavorful, moist, and delicious even after sitting out for a bit and being reheated. I'll definitely be back!

I wanted to love this place as it is so close to the house. We will start by saying I believe the prices are just made up on the spot. My husband and I ordered for just the two of us. My husband got a shawarma and fries and I got a lemon Tawook dinner with Fries. We had to pay for the side of warm bread (most places it's complementary) and we got a small side of garlic and a small side of hummus. This cost us $55 and I'm still not sure how.. according to the menu prices this should have been no more than $40. Naturally no recipes was given and my husband was uncomfortable to ask at the

I have been going to Alloush for at least 2-2.5 years and never had a single complaint about it. You want some of the best food in the area? Head to Alloush. Every single time we go in there, we are treated like family. Moe K goes out of his way to make sure we are having the best possible experience while we are in there. I don’t only come back for the food, I come back because it’s the best service and Moe K makes it that way every. single. time! Give this guy a raise! Tried Alloush since we have yet to find a replacement for our old fave Middle Eastern place that has gone downhill since Covid. ANYWAY, love this place. We dined in. Restaurant is small, but clean and well-decorated. They bake the bread fresh! Came hot to the table......the smell of fresh bread filled the place! We love that instead of plain, flat, store-bought pita bread most places serve. Their chicken hummus appetizer is fantastic. We split the chicken tawook entree. Been eating here for years, food is always great! Had both the lamb and chicken cooked many ways always a great meal. Stop in order anything you won’t be disappointed. One of my favorites is their chili pleasant tasting dish and filling and if you like desserts...try some you won’t be disappointed.

Ordered for a large group yesterday, and me along with all the guests, were extremely pleased. When I had called, I forget who I spoke with, but he was friendly and easy to work with. I gave him a list of items, our budget, and he made it happen. Portions were generous. My favorite part was the super fresh, piping hot, right out of the oven bread. Delicious! Definitely our new go to, whether for a large group again or just my family.

I ordered from alloush today i got the whole deboned and some other stuff. When I got my order it was only 2 pc chicken. I called the restaurant and told them what happened they said it's door dash fault they put the price wrong so they gave me food for the price and not by what's written on the ticket. But the restaurant is in charge of uploading the menu not door dash. The guy in the phone was like u can order more food if u want. No you should of gave me what I asked for. It's not my fault the price was wrong. Never ordering from here again. Horrible service....

We Oder carry out from here often but had the opportunity finally to dine in and I have to say it did not disappoint. Service was quick, friendly and on top of everything'. I had a smoothie of course which was great and refreshing. I also had the chicken vegetable soup with a lamb kebab lunch. The kebab was tender juicy and cooked to perfection and the rice was flavorful with lots of almond pieces for crunchiness. My son had the lamb Kafta sandwich lunch with the salad for his side which is his favorite at the moment. We really enjoyed it and are glad that we can dine in again!

I visited from California with my family and was told Detroit has good meditteranean food. I looked up restaurants and this had good reviews. We decided to try it. Hands down, the best meditterenean food and service I've had in years. The quality and quantity of the food was superb. The waiter had a friendly and genuine conversation with us occassionally and made us feel very welcome. If you're in Detroit and havent been here, you're doing a mistake.

Great food and friendly service. This place totally makes me fall in love with Middle Eastern food!!! The flavor is amazing!!! My order of beef Kafka and tabbouli was simply marvelous!!! Thanks to our waiter who suggested this gem called kafka. The fresh pita bread and the tabbouli to stuff it in was OMG good!!!! I've been here a while back and the flavors haven't changed. The baba ghanoush here is great also but my plate was so huge that I saved it for my next visit. Hope to come back very soon..

They have the big brick oven with hot pita we can't eat during Lent teasing us. They dropped off some hot pita and the pita chips as well.
We ordered the assemble platter to make it easy. Then I noticed the cook in the back has his mask below his nose. So was the guy waiting on us. Actually all of the staff seem to keep their masks below their nose, not cool. The guy waiting on us has had his mask below his nose the entire time we have been here in fact. They don't care about their health

I have been wanting to try Alloush for a while now. I have started to discover the greatness of takeout Mediterranean as we approach the 1-year mark of the pandemic hitting the state. This has driven me to venture out into the great unknown.
Between my girlfriend and I, we ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich with a side of rice, a fattoush salad, and the bread. It was all very tasty, but not quite on par with a few of my favorite Mediterranean restaurants. Nonetheless, I would certainly visit again.

My wife & I were watching Food Networks, "Best Thing I Ever Ate" show featuring desserts. We were intrigued by a dessert called knafeh. After searching around we found it on Aloush's menu and built a dinner for two around it to carryout. We ordered a lamb chop dinner with rice and soup, plus garlic sauce for the bread. The owner greeted me at the door and told me that he had thrown in some extra bread and hummus. His last words were, "After you taste this, you'll be back."

I called on a Saturday and asked about having food delivered to One Society Salon to welcome them all back after being closed for so long. This business was amazing on the phone. They helped put together a catering platter once I told them the number of people. I was quite pleased with the price as it was much cheaper than another restaurant that I was considering.
Everyone at the salon said the food was amazing. Thank you Alloush grill for making the One Society staff feel special. Will definitely try this place myself soon.

The lunch specials are a great deal. I was a bit put off that fattoush salad was an upgrade when all they add to the house salad was pita chips, but otherwise, the bread and hummus, chicken shawarma sandwich and garlic sauce were delicious. Server and manager stopped by to check on us and welcomed us asking if it was our first time there.
