Chaos, clutter, grim & tell me what Chinese chop-shop runs outta Chop Sticks! Come on!! If you favor heavy ketchup flavored sweet and sour gluelike dipping sauce, pork fried rice with burned chopped mystery meat & pork rinds, or tempora style shrimp with garlic lobster sauce stir fried with a gummy heavy pancake batter then baby this is your joint. Saw one of the "cooks" wiping his nose, by the way he was unmasked, on his sleeve. Last time I pulled that off was at 6 years old & got cracked by Mom for taking the shortcut. All in all if you like placing your order, told "

Food tasted good and was reasonably priced. Our order for 5 people was ready within 15 minutes. They made my beef lo mein extra spicy as requested!

Best gravy with the almond chicken. Plus it's all in the egg roll and they excelled!

Absolute masterpiece. This restaurant is amazing, food times are great, and the food is amazing. Huge fan of this restaurant, can't think of any improvements. This place is just perfect. Overall greatly enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to anybody passing by the area.

9/2021- tried China King for the 1st time! Great food, reasonably priced, super clean interior for pick-up. Delicious egg rolls, probably the best I've ever be had!

I love that they don't use any MSG ever, love that there are steamed options. I get the hot and sour soup frequently and I really like it. Reasonable prices, all the condiments and extras are on a table at the side of the counter, so you can take what you need. Never had a bad meal from here. Better than average for a "shopping center type" Chinese take out.

Absolutely outstanding. The best local family owned restaurant around ! Super nice and hardworking people. Very flavorful food.

So happy we've finally found a place in our new area. The food was delicious! We had pepper steak and general tsao's chicken. The price was reasonable too. My only complaint would be that the gentleman that answered the phone and took my order was very short and borderline rude. He answered the phone as if it was his personal number, I had to make sure I was calling a business. Aside from that we're satisfied and can't wait to try something else on the menu.

Favorite Chinese carry out. Hot and sour soup and steamed chicken with vegetables. Healthy and delicious. Generous portions, good pricing, and quick service.

Never had a problem with service, never any bad food. Love their hot & sour soup. Also love tat you can get steamed options and no MSG. Remember they speak Chinese- so there may be some language barrier, not Americans speaking English. Also- it is reasonably priced, Chinese carry-out. If you want very high end food, go somewhere else.

First time getting lunch carry out here. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken. This was good. Way better then expected and the lunch prices are very reasonable. Left like I received more then the moneys worth.

I would stop and order food from here again.

I had not tried this restaurant before but have tried most Chinese around town. We ordered tonight for a family of 7. Everything was wonderful! We will order from here again. The crab Rangoon's ......so good! I ordered chicken and mushrooms....delishious! Everyone else raved about it all! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! Great job!

Compared to many other Chinese restaurants, I don’t think this food tastes good. I had the shrimp and lobster sauce and it was probably the worst I’ve ever had in 49 years. The orange chicken was just tempura chicken with no glaze and no included sauce. The fried rice has very little taste. I’m not impressed at all with this restaurant.

Personally my husband and I really enjoy China King! We love their almond chicken, honey chicken, chicken fried rice. We haven't had a bad experience yet! However the other day we did get put on hold and then hung up on three times when we called, hence the 4/5 stars. Other than that the food is great!

First time trying their food. Really liked their chicken on a stick & won ton soup. Their pepper steak, General Tso chicken & shrimp fried rice were ok, I've had better & worst....I wld eat here again.

Went there to get a carry out- walked in to order and got screamed at. Apparently, no one should come inside? I was appalled by the way I was treated. Maybe a clear sign? Maybe talking to your customers with a little more respect? Maybe, lock the door?? So I drove down the street and ordered food from China Garden..No one should treat a customer that way!! I will NEVER eat there again!!

Popped in here randomly with my son. It isn't a very pretty place, and I'm sure carryout is the bulk of their business. But, we weren't close to home, and we were starving, so we ate in.
The food was really, really good. Guess you shouldn't always judge a restaurant by its rough exterior. The place was clean, the lunch portion was huge, and the staff at the restaurant were fast and polite.

Best sweet and sour chicken ever. I finally found a great Chinese spot. IM going to order the sesame seed chicken this time. Oh ya the Bourbon chicken was good too.

We ordered 5 meals to go along with egg roles and an appetizer. The egg roles and appetizer were over cooked and dried out and all 5 meals were not good. 2 of us had the bourbon chicken which had little flavor and the chicken was hard and dried out, almost seemed freeze dried. 2 others had shrimp and chicken chow mein, which had no flavor, literally zero flavor - the celery (which was in large chunks as was the onions) was the most flavorful item in the dish. All I can assume, given the other reviews, is that we must have either had left over meals from day before or the chef was out.

The Best in Michigan! I have traveled throughout Michigan trying to find wonderful heart warming Chinese food as FRESH as China King! None. Seriously, none. I found out that China King has a REAL CHEF!

I finally found a good Chinese place in Novi! Sesame chicken was very flavorful, the sauce was great. I like the rice as well, hands down my favorite place in Novi!

Took forever to have them answer the phone. The guy on the phone was very very rude and he was sagging his pants and had no underwear so his butt was showing while cooking our food and everyone else's food at the same time. Got food poisoning the next day. They gave us the wrong order and it took them forever to make it. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! Terrible service and not good food.

Hard to find good Chinese food. I've lived in this area for over 2 years and have just discovered this place. Been there about 5 times since.
Love their lo mein, fried rice and egg rolls. Everything is always hot and fresh.
This is my new go-to Chinese food.

Small mom and pop place w/ great prices, good food and friendly service even the kids get involved.

Always good. Got my usual, large pepper steak w/white rice. $10 including tax. It could have used a little more sauce this time around but still great and they give you a lot of food, enough for leftovers the next day even. Service is fast and the order correct. They have a few tables to dine in but I have only ordered take out.
