When I graduated from Texas Tech, I was fortunate to find a job as General Counsel for a mortgage lender. I noticed delays in closings when minor curative issues arose and title companies, already too busy, turned their attention to the clean ready to close transactions.
Seeing this as an opportunity to cure this problem for my client by improving the title company processes, I started a little title operation on the side to assist my mortgage lender.The side gig developed rapidly and over the next few months, with a little encouragement from my employer and more courage than I should have had at the time, my full time Fee Attorney title operation ribbon was cut in 1993.

This was our first time working with Fidelity National Title. We recently retired and moved back to Texas and found them great to work with. They never missed a deadline and were incredibly responsive and never seemed to be bothered by the most simple question.
They kept on schedule the entire way and always kept us looped in on what our next step was going to be and when we were going to accomplish it.
I worked in the hotel business for almost 40 years and understand the importance of guest service and meeting expectations. Fidelity does too and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I recommend that you do not use this law office if you are someone who doesn't know quite what to do and needs an expert and honest recommendation. I was sent to Laughlin Law because I was told that I would be taken care of, since I was an only child and had never been through a death of a parent before, which ended up being the worst decision that I have made in regards to my mothers estate. I've used Fon & Glen @ Laughlin Law & Title a few times. Once for the sale of my home in Oak Point & also to draw up 2 wills. They are very easy to work with and I felt pricing was very reasonable.
