Services
We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter package; and specialized blood tests for all life stages.
Dr. Janke grew up on a dairy farm in Kansas. He graduated from Kansas State University, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. After graduation he worked in Sedalia, MO for 2 years, a practice in Northeast Kansas for 2 years, then came to Rolla in 1989. In 1991, he purchased Forum Drive Small Animal Hospital.

They were AMAZING!!! I'm traveling from Texas to Wisconsin and my cat was going stir crazy on the 2nd day. They saw my cat in a very timely manner and helped us out immensely!!! Not only calmed my cats sanity, but my daughter and I's too!! Thank y'all sooo very much!! God Bless y'all!!

My Bandit woke up with an enlarged lymph node under his neck and Dr. Janke was on call for the Rolla vet clinics that Saturday. Dr. Janke was very straightforward on the phone with me and gave me all my… options. I decided to have Bandit see him on an emergency basis to ensure he received the treatment he needed. Due to COVID-19 protocols, I couldn’t go into the hospital with my dog, but Dr. Janke and his staff were unbelievably kind and caring for Bandit, despite the fact he was not a regular patient there. So called up there cause my cat is very hurt and can't afford to go to vet but I can make payments and they turned her down cause now they cant do payments so my cat just can't get any treatment what to do. Don't go there they can't help. She drags it around and mow all day in pain. Emergency vet is not what it's supposed to mean no more its only if you have money then can they take care of your animals.

Little over a month ago I had to have my 12 year old Great Dane put to sleep. He had been seizing all night and and I was devastated and a mess. the doctor and his Tech came out and treated us as if they had… known us all their lives. Not only did they make me feel comfortable but my dog also felt no pain and no suffering anymore due to the kindness and the expertise of this team. they took a situation that was devastating and life changing for me and made me feel as if I was with family. I highly recommend these guys! I haven't had the opportunity to use them yet as vets as I have moved

Thanks so much for helping my pet last week. I was so scared when she had 3 seizures but you were able to work her in and see her and check her out and get her some help.
