My name is Jessica, I am the practice manager at R Veterinary at Cross Creek. I grew up in a small town here in Missouri and have always wanted to work with animals.
Cross Creek Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital, located in Waynesville, MO. We provide the best possible medical care, surgical care, and dental care for our highly-valued patients. We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative health care, and health- related educational opportunities for our clients.
Regular vaccinations and examinations will help keep your pet healthy and happy. Your veterinarian will be able to advise you of the frequency that your pet should be examined, but most recommend either annual or six-monthly visits. This is because pets age an average of 7 times faster than humans and so by the time they reach 6/7 years old they are considered middle-aged.

In the past few month, we’ve had a cat and a dog treated at this facility and we’ve been very pleased. However, I called yesterday to try to schedule an appointment for a new kitten. I was told they had nothing yesterday, but I could call back this morning at 7:30 to try to get a same day appointment. I called at 7:28, no answer. I called at 7:32 and was told someone already had “that” appointment. I asked what do I do now and was told to call to some other veterinarian clinics. I have no idea if they are booked the rest of the week, as neither time I was asked or offered an option for

They are not compassionate people. I had to put my childhood dog down. He was a 10.5 year old Great Dane. I went with my family and they put us in a room. While sitting there in tears for my dog I could hear them laughing, joking. They just kept getting louder and louder. I could hear a vet assist and/or tech yell to the vet “how much should we charge for the medicine” she yelled back “ohh $150”. She then walked in and before anything she started giving us prices. Made us payright then. Once we paid, she left and continued their loud banter outside the door.

I really didn't have enough of an interaction to be able to give a proper rating. The office is massive and lovely. Was my 1st time here and needed to bring my cat in for dental cleaning. They wanted to run labs first which is normal but when they brought out the bill and the estimated window of costs for the actual procedure I nearly died. Since I only ever spoke to a tech on the phone, I can't speak to the care of my cat but I can't possibly ever afford to come here again.

I have been here for 7 years, and I've been bringing my dog since nearly day one,...when we first got here I heard mixed reviews , so I went somewhere else and the first thing they did was label my dog strictly because of his breed, they didn't even know him, and they slapped a huge red sticker on his file that said bite risk right across it, I was told by the technician after noticing it that they put that on every dog's folder, so when I went to pay for services I started picking up other dogs folders, and nope there was no bite risk sticker there there is no big Mr yuck face on their folders

Met and was assisted by a wonderful and helpful young lady. Listened to my concerns about my cat, and asked about a budget. She came back after the exam was done and placed the cat back in the car and told me how well he did in his exam. Made me happy he felt at ease while being examined. He is doing so much better now. Really appreciate having a place to take my animals. This was also done with other health in mind as all precautions we taken as well.
