Wildflowers Preschool
We provide an environment where children feel safe and part of a community working together to meet the needs of each child. We offer daily circle times, literacy lessons, music and movement, art activities and lots of exploration of the natural world. We believe that children learn best when they are allowed to follow their natural curiosities about the world.

Our primary mission at Wildflowers is to provide a safe and loving place where children look forward to spending time and where they can grow to be caring members of a community.
Services
We keep our teacher to child ratios low, We have 3 teachers with a group of 14-16 Mixed Age students. Teacher Heidi is the owner and lead teacher at Wildflowers Preschool. She holds a Master's in Environmental Education as well as an elementary teaching license. She taught 6th grade math and science for a few years before opening Wildflowers Preschool.
Free play and morning work cycle(involves special exploration or arts and crafts activities built around the current theme). Each day we build literacy and math skills necessary for a smooth transition into kindergarten. These skills are worked on throughout our day whether it is counting how many children are at school during morning snack or learning how to rhyme with fun songs during circle time.
Wildflowers Preschool's teaching philosophy is a unique mix of Reggio Emilia, Montessori and Environmental Education. All three approaches to early childhood education give children some control over the direction of their learning and highlight the importance of using all senses to learn and honor the endless range of ways children express themselves.
Official enrollment opens up in January for the following fall session. In addition to the paperwork, you will also need to submit a non-refundable enrollment fee. The initial enrollment fee is $200. For subsequent years, the enrollment fee will be $150 and is due with renewal contracts. Families with these forms submitted will be invited to an open house in January which signifies the start of fall enrollment.
We often have parents volunteer and each year we host an annual holiday show to help bring the entire community together. Here are some experiences our families share about Wildflowers Preschool. Every day is filled with creative ideas-from Heidi, her teachers, and the children. My daughter is always talking about what she and her "school friends" learned, found, laughed about, read, made, ETC!" - Michell G.

I can't say all of the things that are awesome about this preschool. The review would be too long.

My daughter attended wildflowers preschool last year and flourished in the environment. Not only was she well taken care of but you could really feel that she was loved by her teachers. She learned about a wide variety of topics and songs in different t languages. She developed social skills that have served her well at her next school, the international school. I can’t say enough about this safe, happy environment for schooling your little one.
