I recently moved to the area and stumbled upon their Instagram page and booked pretty blindly. I went in to see Maria Adams and all I can say is wow. I had such a wonderful experience from the time I stepped through the door. Maria, really took the time to get to know me, my hair goals and history, and most importantly her time to give me the most perfect hair. I can't recommend this salon anymore and Maria! Wonderful experience and will definitely be a reoccurring client

If I could give it 0 stars, I would.
They treat their customers like they are expendable, and it felt like I was being rushed through my service. Every staff member was SO rude, and I regret spending my money here.
Also, I know that they only pay their staff roughly $4/customer and encourage staff to upsell customers/get commission on hair products, thereby undermining their actual artistic skill sets and pushing them to deceive clients in order to earn livable wages. The service I received now makes a whole lotta sense.

I have been a client of Blake Rose Salon for about 4 years now, and I have always received excellent service! I get a full highlight and cut done by Bryan Beaver each time that I go. Bryan is a true professional, and I always leave the salon looking refreshed and feeling thoroughly pampered. I got a dry haircut with Maria a few months ago and she did a great job!
My hair was super grown out and I wanted to reintroduce some layers while still preserving length before I got a balayage for the first time. A dry cut was the perfect way to get my layers to look exactly the way I wanted them to when styled/on a daily basis. Maria was careful not to go overboard with the first trim, which made it easy for me to ask her to go shorter with another pass. I loved the way my hair looked when I got home!
Maria was very sweet and used some great Bumble & Bumble products to perfect my hair

I have been seeing Maria Adams at BRS&S for awhile now and I can very confidently say I will never trust anyone else with my hair ever again! She listens to my requests and concerns and delivers amazing results every time! I had virgin hair before going to Maria and had wanted to start lightening my hair for years but was so nervous to fry my hair and ruin it. I was so reluctant to get a spray tan for fear of being orange or “fake looking.” Even so, I got one with Maria. The tan came out looking so natural and was the perfect shade I was looking for (Maria helped me choose). 2 days later I went to the wedding so confident with glowing tanned skin! It complimented the dress so well! I plan on getting one for each of the three weddings I’m in this year!!

I definitely won't be coming back. Stylist left the dryer a lot longer than she said she would, which burnt a portion of my scalp. She said she'll be back in 7-8 mins but came back after 13-14 mins later. The color was nice but not the same as the picture that I had shown her. Did not like the attitude of the stylist who supposedly was trying to help her. She came off very rude as I was trying to explain how I wanted my hair to look.

Katie Lynch is so so wonderful!! I am naturally a dirty blonde, however during the winter months I like to add some brightness / dimension to my hair. After a tragic experience at another salon (think natural to platinum.... yikes), she was able to correct the color and bring my hair back to life!! She was efficient, personable and took the time to bring my vision to life. Would highly recommend this salon!!

I decided to try a new salon for a cut and color. After some research and reading the Google reviews, I decided to give Blake Rose a try. I checked prices online and a cut /color touch up was listed at $94. When I called to make the appointment and they asked for my credit card number it raised a red flag.

Went in to get a balayge on my Virgin black hair. Called other salons, none wanted me due to the black, textured hair. Emma was quick and left me more than happy. Left with soft, beautifully colored hair and was guided to the proper products to ensure the color last. Has been 2 months so far and am still in love.

My experience at Blake Rose was great. The salon was very clean and I can tell they're doing everything they can/cleaning often to keep clients safe. I visited Katie on a recommendation from a couple friends who see her, and I was not disappointed! She gave me exactly what I asked for. Good conversations and good vibes all around. I saw Casey @thenailcave and she was wonderful! The area was very clean and I felt quite safe going in and it's not just a line of pedicure/manicure tables like you usually find at other salons. It's just you and Casey.
She gives you her undivided attention and we are able to talk about a wide range of topics! Prices are very reasonable. I felt so great while getting my pedicure and will be back soon!

I've been a client of BRSS for quite a few years and have always received exceptional service, and this past Tuesday was no exception despite all the new restrictions due to COVID-19. I felt perfectly safe with all their safety and cleanliness procedures- call before entering to ensure social distancing at guest services counter, temp check and series of questions asked before entering- hand sanitizer readily available- all employees masked and distancing from each other, and each stylist has their own room- so easy to keep clients an appropriate distance from each other. Disappointments galore! After leaving the salon I met my fiance for shopping, as he's walking behind me he ask, what's on your (new) shirt?
Instantly it dawned on me, I sat in hair color!!! I had recalled seeing something on the back of the chair (in Bari's station) that I was seated in.
Of course I thought, it must just be a stain, because who would tell someone to sit in wet color right!?!? When Bari returns from a smoke break she then puts a black cape on me....too late. But, the worst part is when I call he the next day to chat with her, she was extremely rude and told me she

If I could give ZERO stars, I most definitely would. I had the WORST hair experience of my life here last Friday. I went in for balayage and a trim and left with half of my hair fried off! I have dark hair and have been coloring my hair for a while now, so I was hoping to do something fun before vacation. I wanted to go for a lighter color, and they kept telling me they would check on it to make sure it didn't get damaged. I sat with bleach in my hair for 3 hours and they kept telling me "it looked great!"- so I trusted them. Now I know that they should have done it in multiple sessions

Thank you Caylah! She fixed my hair and made me new again. I went in a few months ago for a hair trim after two years of lightening my hair and it becoming dried out an tangled on the regular. I had been wanting to go back to my natural color but when I tried before the color seemed to fade quickly and didn't seem worth it to me. Caylah offered information on how she could get my hair to look and feel healthier AND be one solid color. I waIs in. I loved my haircut and her personality so much I decided to go for another try. I couldn't be happier.

I came to this salon for a regular haircut, and had a great experience start to finish! From the moment I walked in the door, everyone was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable. Plus, you can book your appointment entirely online, which was super easy, and you can get text or email reminders.
The atmosphere in this salon is so chic- there's even a fireplace in front of the hair washing stations!
My stylist was Kristy, who was super sweet, listened to what I wanted, and gave me a great haircut that only took about 20 minutes. She kept up a conversation with me without being overbearing

I absolutely recommend Lindsey. I recently moved to Columbus and it's been really hard to find a stylist who really knows their color and mixing and can do dark roots / ombré / etc really well. She is AWESOME with color and my hair looks amazing. And I'm super picky. Plus it's a big bonus that she is a really sweet person too. Can't rave enough. Thank you Blake Rose and Lindsey!

Unfortunately a 1 star is as low as I can go. Extreme unprofessionalism has been shown from this company, especially the owner and the Salon manager. My fiancé simply requested information on a pedicure and in response received a chain of emails entailing a conversation between the two both calling her dumb and the salon manager even announcing "deal with dumb ones everyday" Both bio descriptions of the two emphasize a positive client relationships, including the statement "doing her best to make sure each client feels welcome and appreciated". This is ironic considering

Kelly has done my gel manicures for the past couple months and she's the first person who has ever given me awesome, trendy nail art! Matte, lines, glitter, metallics-- she's got it all!
I've also seen Lisa's work and for the price, you can't get a better, more unique manicure than with the gals at Blake Rose.
I love that I can book online and the salon itself is gorgeous and comfortable.
