Services
We began Cactus Kids because of the need for childcare that was based on nurturing love and tender care. Parents need to know their children are being well taken care of in a safe and happy environment. Continuing our education and training is how we become better caregivers for your children. As we progress and grow, it changes us from just caregivers to experts in childcare.
Cactus Kids offers a dedicated area for infant care and nurturing. We realize the importance of providing a stimulating environment for your infant. Young children need stimulation and interaction throughout their lives, but lack of enrichment can be most damaging in the very early years. Connections in the brain become stronger when they are used often and connections that are not used die away.
When your baby becomes a toddler, the Toddler Program at Cactus Kids is an excellent choice during this time of their life. We are there to be with your toddler while they adjust to their growing bodies, and learn to use their growing senses, such as thier ability to solve problems. The Toddler Program Teachers at Cactus Kids are here to help your growing toddler learn about the world around them in a successful and heartfelt way.
In the Cactus Kids Pre-Kindergarten Program, we will bring out and help develop your child's emotional, physical, and cognitive needs. Parents are a child's first teacher. A child that receives early childhood education before age 5, is more likely to succeed in grade school, high school, and beyond.
At Cactus Kids, we believe our school aged children are well on their way to becoming BRIGHT FUTURE STARS! I am really impressed and satisfied with this preschool. Staff and the teachers are so friendly and the communication there is awesome, especially when it comes to your child. I absolutely love this place and have seen such a huge progress in my child's learning as well as manners. They offer so many resources and include you in all aspects. I would recommend most definitely.

My child was in attendance here since pre-k. Once that teacher left it's been down hill for us. The turn over rate is ridiculous. It would take my child for winter break and by the time spring came around it was a whole new staff. It's definitely cheaper than most and you will get the care you pay for. If the staff is going to rude and disrespectful to the parents, how do you think they will treat your child? Never again.

I been working at cactus kids for 3 months so far and i love it! The staff are great and very friendly! I also bring my two children my 1 year old son and my 6 year old daughter! My sons teachers are great they love my son and let me know about any problems! My daughter tells me everyday that she has a nice teacher and i agree with her! I couldnt be any happier with this place its a great work place and a great place to leave ur children i recommand it!!

Horrible school! The teachers only care about the money. ! They dont actually care for the kids at all! My son begged and cried to not go to that school every morning. Only had him in there a week, and WHAT really made me change was when i took him to school one day ge literally hung on to the door with all his might not to go in that classroom. My question to you is what are they doing that us parents are seeing?! Don't take YOUR little ones in there!! Please DON'T! I wish i would of noticed sooner than later!

Plz dont take your kids to this jail.. I was an employer and some of the stuff that Ove witnessed and seen for myself was horrible. Like for an example in the infants rooms the babys wers left in soil djapers when I would go in to give breaks. They were not professional at all what so ever and the toys werent sanitized on a daily basis. Sometimes there wasnt enoughof teachers in the room with the children. I really adore children and it was hurting me to see kids getting mistreated and ignored. They dont have a sickness policy. So if any kids were sick wouldnt even get sent home. There wasnt any

This is the best daycare I have found. The are very cheap but that does not reflect on the care they give. I have had my daughter at this daycare since she was 6 months old and there is no other daycare I would ever take her to other then Cactus Kids. She loves all the teachers and they all love her too. I wish there was a higher rating I could give then just 5 stars for this daycare and preschool.

I took my 3 yr old daughter and 6 yr old son her for 3 days. Day one they let kids color all over my daughter's shirt. Day 2 they took my son on a field trip that I knew nothing about and did not sign off on. Their excuse was that they made a mistake and thought he was so.eone else. He also peed his pants because the teacher didn't listen when he said he had to go. I gave it one more shot and on day 3 my daughter had an accident in her pants and she told me the teacher was ignoring her. Then when my husband went to pick her up, they had no idea what classroom she was in! DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE

Cactus Kids is under new ownership as of 12/9/2013. The center is now owned by someone who is from the West Side of town she graduated from the Trevor Browne High School. She is an experienced childcare owner and her mission is to give back to the community that she was raised in and be a blessing to all the children. Cactus kids serves infants to school agers. The mission of the school is to put children first! Look for an awesome Preschool Program the children will be safe, secure and happy! DES is now being accepted and Look out West Side!

It's terrible to see people write all of these negative things about this daycare. My 3 children have been going there for over 7+yrs now. I have never once had any issues with the cleanliness or the way food is prepared and served for my children. The staff there is very involved, and if they ever hired anyone that was not up to the daycare's standards they were let go. The focus of the daycare is specifically geared towards making sure the children that attend are happy, and offered the best quality of learning I have ever seen any daycare offered. I have recommended friends and family to this
