Dr. Helf graduated from Mississippi College with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences and Biochemistry. She received her dental degree from UAB School of Dentistry and has been practicing in and around the Birmingham area for many years. Dr. Helf lives in Vestavia with her husband John and their two dogs, Charlie and Buddy.

Great experience! Loved the modern vibe and equipment. Large wall-mounted TV in exam room with personal Netflix while you wait and to show x-rays and pics of your teeth. Super-comfy exam room chairs - very plush and cozy. I even received a nice card from my dental hygienist in the mail (she was great and my teeth felt fabulous afterwards).

Who loves their dentist? Seriously. Who ever says that? Dr. Helf is fantastic, type A, and determined for everything to be perfect. My hygienist Donna felt like an old friend. I’m looking forward to going back for the work that still needs to be done. And that should tell you everything you need to know— go see them!
