Dr. Thomas grew up in Montgomery and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Mississippi. He completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at UAB and obtained his Alabama State Dental License in 2001. From 2001 to 2005, he was Chief Dental Officer for the Indian Health Service providing dentistry for Ignacio, Colorado and Santa Fe, New Mexico area Indian tribes.
We are specialists in pediatric and adolescent dentistry, focusing exclusively on the developmental years-the most important years-of your child's dental care. In many cases, you may have come to us because of a referral by your general dentist or pediatrician, but you don't need a referral to see us.
Your child's first dental visit should be scheduled around their first birthday. One of the most important reasons of this visit is to familiarize your child with the dental office environment and to ease any anxiety associated with future visits. A twice a year professional dental cleaning and fluoride treatment are an important part of your child's program to prevent decay and promote healthy oral hygiene.

By training your children about proper oral hygienic habits at an early age, you can set them up for a lifetime of good oral health. Terrible service they saw my son one time and said I’d have to file paperwork for children’s for cavities to be filled. My husband works all the time and we couldn’t get there they didn’t even give us a warning or an email saying if we didn’t fill out this paperwork that wasn’t even for them, that they wouldn’t see him anymore.His appointment was coming up my husband called to confirm and they told him they can’t see him anymore over paperwork that had nothing to do with them. Now I have to find another dentist ASAP, what a terrible thing to do to someone.

Went to a consult it was fine and fast and we planned a dental surgery for my 3 year old with severe cavities, just to be turned away 2 days before the procedure (it had been planned over a month) and referred to a different dentist. My baby was really looking forward to her appointment to get her teeth fixed, even liked the dentist, but we will not be returning.

We visited Dr. Clarks office this morning for a second opinion for an issue with my toddlers front teeth. The experience was wonderful!! He and his staff engaged in sweet conversation with both of my girls and made them feel comfortable before he even checked their teeth. Truly grateful for a staff and Dentist who genuinely love what they do because it shows!!

I called today to confirm my daughter’s appointment that I made 6 months ago. I was very disappointed to hear that they are no longer requiring adults to mask inside and no longer taking other Covid precautions such as having patients and parents wait in the car until the staff is ready for them. I feel uncomfortable taking my daughter back there. Aside from the health and well-being of my own family, I’m not sure that I can support a business that doesn’t take every precaution to protect the youngest members of our community that aren’t yet eligible to be vaccinated.

We have been there for several years. I understand policy. But, the dismissal letter I received was offense. To be a family practice and my family being faithful clients. I definitely deserved better than the letter I received. This is post Covid. We are all dealing with different situations. Things do happen out of your control! That’s life! This staff lately have been short and disengaged with me my last few interactions, anyway. So, it was for the best that my family was dismissed! Each time I go take my children to Dr Thomas’s office I get more disappointed. Luckily my youngest is about to get out of braces so I’m going to move them to an adult dentist. It’s virtually impossible to change an appointment- they give one for 6 months away when you check out so if you have to call and change it as it gets closer to time they don’t have anything for months. Today my 16 year took himself to his appointment and was instructed to call from his cell phone to let them know he was there from his car - he called from 12:50 to 1:10 and the office voicemail said they were at lunch

I can’t brag on the staff enough the staff is always amazing! Dr.Thomas ask my child multiple times if he were comfortable. I love that he wants to do his best while making sure my child is comfortable. Because I can’t give 10 stars I’ll give 5 :) They are hands down the best Pediatric Dental Practice in the area.

I delayed taking my son to his first dental appointment for quite a while. I was convinced he would scream and cry and I would feel embarrassed. I finally decided to bite the bullet and take him. It turns out, I was completely wrong. Dr. Thomas and his staff made our experience wonderful. My son felt so comfortable the entire time. He even let our hygienist, Leah, take x-rays.
