Montessori Preschool
You should never take your children's education lightly. Help them get off on the right foot by bringing them to Montessori Preschool. We take children's learning and growth extremely seriously while helping them have a lot of fun as well. With a wide range of activates and games that help children learn things like math and language, plus activities for sensory development, music, and art, we know your children will love it here.

If you want your child to attend a Montessori preschool near Playa Vista, CA, contact us today. The Montessori learning method is similar to traditional education in that kids will learn the same curriculum as their peers. However, the process is what's different. Montessori learning emphasizes personal development and choice, not forcing every child to meet the same standard in the same timeframe.
Services
Simple and attractive materials in trays or containers give children the opportunity to do sorting, spooning, pouring, sponging, polishing, basting, cutting, grating, whisking etc. It provides them to develop muscle control and eye-hand coordination. Activities such as dressing frames, sweeping, crumbing and washing help children to take care of themselves as well as the environment.
Both dance and gymnastics provide endless fun for children. They are creative means of stimulating children's kinesthetic intelligence. These activities also build coordination, self esteem and self confidence. We have partnered with the So Fly Kids program to offer additional dance and gymnastics classes for our students during the school day.
This event will provide you with complete introduction to the school, our practices, policies and Montessori philosophy. If there are no vacancies at the time, you have the option to fill out an on line wait list application. You will be notified when a vacancy comes up in the order your application was received.
I absolutely love this school and am so happy that I found it. My daughter is 3 and has been attending Montessori Preschool for almost a year now. She is so happy and is learning so much. All the teachers are wonderful and welcoming. They are open and understanding when I have tons of questions. Montessori Preschool is such a wonderful, nurturing place and I trust that my daughter is well taken care of.

Our daughter attended this preschool for about a year and a half. She started when she was 2 and within couple of months she was speaking full sentences (she started with only some words). All the teachers were very kind and patient, our daughter made some great friends and still remembers most of her teachers from here. It was a great experience and I'd recommend Ms. Virginia's school to anyone!

The teachers are really kind people.
When we're on long weekends or on trips, our daughter says she misses her teachers. She's really picked up her language and social skills since starting and makes friends easily.

Is it as good as Redwood? that's the question you're asking. Redwood has a larger facility, but more kids, and a really cool outdoor area, and the curriculum sounds aspirational, but it's hard to imagine the teachers are as kind as they are here.

We've been sending our kids to this Montessori Preschool ever since our daughter (now in Kindergarten) was 2, and her little brother is still there. I can't say enough positive things about the program and teachers. Our kids adore each one, and the fact that they have been there for so long is a testament to the program. Ms. Virginia is a fearless, kind, and devoted leader and administrator and all the teachers work hard every day to create a safe, nurturing and inspiring space for our kids. Our daughter is now loving kindergarten and was socially and academically prepared to thrive there

I would advise parents to avoid this school. First of all the facilities are very run down and the owners don't invest even into painting the walls. I even saw a hole in the wall there. The outdoor space has nothing to play with -not even a sandbox. The space itself is very limited -my kid has hit his head there due to the lack of space and we had to put 3 stitches. Secondly - the director and the teachers ignore the needs of the kids. Our 3 year old had some issues with the aggression and sharing, which could have been resolved if the teachers and the director were more professional, but

My son has been attending Montessori Preschool for about 3 years. He recently graduated into Kindergarten which is bittersweet because of how much me, my husband, and especially our son love the school. He is already reading and doing math and has the confidence to express himself artistically. All the teachers are amazing and show the kids so much love. It’s easy for a parent to feel good about dropping them off in the morning. I can’t say enough about how much my son has grown in his time at the school, and Ms. Virginia & her Staff have played an integral role in his development. Kindergarten

My son went to Montessori Preschool for 3 years. He thrived in the small class setting where the teachers were so caring and warm to him. I travel for work often so my son had some separation anxiety issues here and there, but the teachers really helped during those times. As a result of his time here, he is very ready for kindergarten - being able to read, write, and do some math. We will miss the small class setting and the attention and feedback we received from all the teachers!

My son Shayan attended this fantastic montessori. It was the greatest experience. The facility, caring staff, and lovely Virginia (director). My son quickly learnt how to walk, and his social skill improves dramatically. Before we enrolled him, he cried when he saw a stranger. After attending the school, he smiles to other people, and he is interested to try many new toys and other adventures. I great appreciate the teachers there and feel lucky that we find this place.

This is a very special place - they have wonderful, kind, smart people there, especially the head teacher Ms Hannah. I was very nervous to leave my 2yo at school for the first time ever, but thanks to Ms Hannah and her team he very quickly got used to it and had a great time. They help spark creativity, love for learning, singing, dancing, making new friends and solving small conflicts. It is a great starter school for little ones.

I cannot say enough good things about this school, but I will try. My daughter began attending shortly after her second birthday, and continued for a year and a half until we moved out of state. We loved it so much we were even able to recruit three other families we knew to enroll their kids!

I loved the bright and clutter-free environment they provide, it really makes for a soothing atmosphere and I found it particularly comforting if there were ever to be a sizable earthquake. I toured one in-home day care while considering my options and one location had toys and baskets stacked from floor

Montessori is a great teaching method for your kids. My one advice for the parents enrolling their kids here would be that before you enlist your kids in this school, ASK IF ANYONE ON THEIR STAFF (Teachers Aide, etc.) who handles your child is dealing with any type depression issues..... taking anti-depressants meds with side effects, etc.

This is an honest review based on staff member of theirs which I know directly. They keep taking off the truthful reviews for some reason.

My son is incredibly happy to attend preschool every day! He adores Ms. Anna and Ms. Sima. They are loving and kind. He was considered speech delayed while tested at home with our nanny and within two months of attending preschool speaking 3 word sentences. He is proud to come home with his art every day. He sings all the time now including the new songs learned at school. He is well cared for and supervised. Most mornings when I walk him in he shows me around the classroom, points to the alphabet and the calendar. I feel confident in my choice for my son to attend this school. The administrator

Our daughter spent her last year of pre-school here. The best thing of this school is the academic part. Compared to other daycare or pre-school, this is the one that she really learned a lot, both English and math, which helped her start at a higher point when she went to elementary. Can you believe she learned 3 digits calculation in that school? I appreciate teacher's effort of teaching her depend on what her real level is, not her age. Ms. Virginia is a great teacher.

My daughter has just graduated after spending 3 years at Montessori Preschool. She very much enjoyed her time there, and we as parents felt it was, after researching and visiting a lot of preschools, the ideal place for her to learn. play and grow.
Great teachers, coupled with a cozy environment really aided her development and prepared her for kindergarten. A nicely balanced mix of play-based & academic studies.
Very flexible, reasonably priced after-school care arrangements as well, if you require them.
My son is already on the list to start next summer.

I don't know why this preschool is not full and has a year long waiting list like most other preschools in the area. It turns out to be a very decent school. We like the minimalist layout in the main room, which is a big open space bright and neat.

All the teachers are super nice. I really appreciate Ms. Sima patiently change my son's cloth diapers all the time, which even seems like an extra task to myself. My son has learned so many new words and skills and has been much better with sharing with others after being there part-time for 2 months only. Seeing him happily running

The teachers as well as the children in the school were so good to him and made him feel very comfortable. He enjoyed his stay and learned a lot, especially to communicate in English better. I recommend this Pre school to all parents. '

Looking for a preschool/daycare is stressful for lots of reasons, but mainly because you need to know that you can trust the people you are going to leave your kid with for up to 10 hours. Montessori Preschool is a good school with good people.

My daughter is just wrapping up her second and last year, and it has been a lovely experience! The school is clean, safe, fairly priced, and the social skill building and curriculum are highly effective.

Thanks to Ms. Virginia and her staff of wonderful teachers my daughter is definitely ready for Kindergarten!

Both of our children are attending this school. After visiting numerous other facilities we chose this school because of Ms. Virginia (the Director) and her attentive staff. We have been more than pleased with the results.

Our five year old is getting ready to start kindergarten this fall. At his kindergarten orientation they gave us a list of goals and scholastic abilities that a child should have at the time he/she enters kindergarten. Our son has been doing every one of those things for a number of months because of this school! He is now MORE than ready to attend kindergarten.

Miss Virginia and her staff of talented helpers and educators have been very attentive to the specific academic needs of our daughters, and have carefully observed the areas where they succeed and areas where more support is needed.

When I first started looking for a daycare for my son it was one of the most stressful times of my life. I spent hours and hours researching online, reading books, talking to people, but I still felt so anxious. How do you leave your young child with a complete stranger? Can you trust someone that you don't know at all to take care of your baby?

This is when I started my quest and decided to check in person all the places that had good reviews online and good reputation among the moms in the area. I visited 7 daycares, talked to random parents dropping off or picking up their children, and

Both my children ages 2 and 3 went here for a year before we moved out of state. The employees were loving and invested in each of my children. It was tough leaving my babies in the care of someone else, but when I saw how much they loved my kids it made the choice so much easier. Ms. Maria and Ms. Virginia are so in tune with each child. My 5 year old son has been attending this school since he was 2.
The Director (Ms.Virgina) is a knowledgeable caring woman who is involved in all aspects of the school. She keeps meticulous records on each child's progress and problem areas if any, and she always keeps the parents up to date. She is open to input and easy to communicate with. She is prompt at returning phone calls.
Ms.Anna always let me know things like how Saaketh's day's been, if he played with other kids, and what his favorite habits and toys are. This comforts me that staff is very attentive.
Sometimes after our dinner my
