We teach Jiu-jitsu for adults, teens, and children to defend themselves against stronger and larger attackers. We use the philosophies, moral codes, and the Art of Jiu-jitsu as a guide to direct the youth down an honorable path. At JP Jiu-jitsu Academy, we provide a positive social circle and positive outlet for the youthful energy in the younger generations.
We use The Art as a tool to build children's coordination, balance, confidence, and self-esteem. Professor J.P.'s passion, drive, dedication, loyalty, love and appreciation of the art were so strong started teaching the kids classes in 2009 and has been teaching ever since.

Services
Our Self-Defense program is a fundamental Self Defense Jiu-Jitsu program. It involves full contact sparring but in a safely monitored training environment. The classes are focused on safety, exerting just enough energy for lighter training for minimal injuries. This teaches the students self-control and self-restraint unless necessary.

My son has trained at a few schools in the area and this is his “home.”
JP does an excellent job at not only teaching the technical aspects of jiu jitsu but also applying life lessons to training.
He is gifted with children and has a way of understanding who they are and what they need.
I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for some training for themselves or their children.

JP is not only a great example for the children he teaches and cares for like they were his own, but he gives his academy a genuine family vibe. His teachings in not only the martial arts but life in general is what makes him a great teacher. Highly recommend if you’re looking to lose weight, learn to defend yourself and are overall looking for a good time and some friends.

I only have great things to say about JP as an instructor and as a person. He's very involved with the children. He does an awesome job teaching them BJJ Techniques and discipline. He's very dedicated and it's more than a business to him, it's like family to him. My children have learned a great deal from him. I'm forever grateful!

The best place you can go to learn BJJ. It's a family and everyone there acts like it. Jp is also a fantastic teacher and under him his students have seen amazing rates of progression so I highly recommend trying a class. Whether its is for sport, to defend yourself in the streets, or just to get some exercise while having fun I highly recommend you come and try it out.

This school is an amazing place to learn Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. The vibes and the people are great. JP is the most down to earth person you'll ever meet. He's not only your professor, but he's also your friend/family. He embodies every aspect a student could ever want in an instructor/professor. Joining his academy is one of the best decisions I have ever made!

JP is an instructor who works diligemtly and patiently with all of his students -- all levels and all ages - to master not only their own capabilities , but to develop beyond what they thought possible. For kids - JP's class is fun and is the corneratone for their develipment physically and mentally.... For teens and adults the class is serious and intense - you are there to learn , master and learn more - in a family environment worh good friends and positive vibes.
