We are Houston Wing Tsun, but our school is called "Irresistible Wing Tsun" because there really is no better way to describe what we do and how we do it. Yes, we teach Wing Tsun, and it's "the same" Wing Tsun you find being taught anywhere around the world - except for one thing: we teach you to execute every movement you learn in such a way that no attacker can physically resist it.
The best thing is that you don't have to practice Wing Tsun for ten years to perfect this skill, and you don't have to be a bodybuilder. This can be done with perfect relaxation. In fact, that's when it works best. You learn to successfully perform every movement against active resistance from another student or the instructor, from day one.

I don't like using pretentious phrases and promotional jargon, however effective those may be in getting new students in the door. It took me over thirty years to get to the point where I am able to share it with you, and it wasn't all of my own effort that brought me to this point. I had help. Lots of help.
After all, what good is it if you learn and practice the best martial art or self defense in the world, but it just isn't what you need, or even really want? I'll give you an example: I love the Saturn Sky roadster as a car. It looks really hot, has great performance stats, and Saturn is a top-notch car company - but when I test drove one, I felt as if I was trapped in a coffin!
You do things you normally wouldn't do. You are stepping out into the unknown by exploring something you have never thought of or done before. There is a certain amount of risk involved in doing this, and that makes it both exciting and challenging. That is also what makes it intrinsically rewarding - because you are actually learning something that works and that allows you to protect yourself and others for the rest of your life.
Practicing Wing Tsun, or anything, is the only way to mastery, so it's very important to learn how to practice your Wing Tsun effectively. To do that, you need to understand your curriculum of course, but more importantly, you need to learn how to practice. The point of Wing Tsun practice is to get all of the positions, movements, and impulse-responses you are learning "into the box".
There is no requirement or obligation to become an actual certified instructor when you join our school. That decision is yours and yours alone, but as you advance through the ranks and new students start under you, you will naturally have many, many opportunities to teach them what they need to know along the way.

Sifu Alex is the best person to learn Wing Tsun Kung Fu from in Houston. He has been doing this amazing art for over 30 years and has trained with and learned from some of the very best, and top Wing Tsun fighters in the world today. He is an outstanding teacher and Martial Artist. I would highly recommend learning from Sifu Alex.

A bastion of REAL Wing Tsun, applied to REAL fighting! Some of the students are from a wrestling or MMA background and know what questions to ask. Sifu Alex is down to earth, no-nonsense, all-practical, Wing Tsun Kung Fu - heart and soul. This school is the real deal if you want to learn practical street defence in a supportive and positive atmosphere where everyone helps everyone to constantly improve.

The best place to Learn authentic Wing Tsun in Houston; having a good Sifu is definitely a tremendous blessing in kungfu, thus Sifu alex is a living example of what he teaches, other than being skillfull, he is kowledgeable and has a sound understanding of the philosophy, dimension and depth of the art he is teaching, Wing Tsun style!

Most people talk, then won't walk the talk and back it up. Sifu Alex doesn't talk he simply just walks the walk. Not only is he knowledge about his craft, he teacyes from the heart and generally cares about people, not just his students. If you want to straight up self defense -- what i like to call get off me -- this is the place to be in Houston. If you want to "bully-proof" yourself come get a week long taste of how to do just that. No nonsense wing tsun at no nonsense prices...
