Services
TJ is from a farm town in Massachusetts, where he lived until he moved to Vista in 1992. Growing up, he actually worked on a dairy farm milking cows, as well as a vegetable farm and a hay farm. During high school, he went to a trade school to learn carpentry. Once in Vista, TJ picked up his first wrench, working with his father at a smog and auto repair shop.
Oil is the lifeblood of your vehicle. Proper lubrication of all the moving parts means less gas is wasted on overcoming internal friction and more of it is transferred to the tires and wheels to get the vehicle going. Eventually, oil and the vehicle's other lubricants require replacement because the fluids break down over time and become less effective.

I won’t take my vehicle anywhere else! Excellent work done every time, great prices and the staff is always so courteous- they treat you like family! TJ really goes above and beyond to make sure every customer is treated right. So glad I found this place a while back after trying a couple of the other guys!!!

They told me they would get my Subaru in the next day by making an appointment which I did. I woke up early to get the their on time and when I got there I asked if I would get the car back same day with the job done and they said "we are going to look at it today" I said great and left. I called 2 hours later and they said to just leave the car till Monday and they won't look at it in till then. they got mad at me when I said "What changed between 8am and 10am that made you unable to look at the car." Had great service. The people working there were very professional and polite and kind. I would recommend them to anyone who ask me for a great place to take there car. TJ was so kind to even offer me some of his roast beef. Know where can you get service like that. Will be using them again. Oh yes TJ and all of the other personnel always had a great smile.

I've been here several times for various services on two of our cars. TJ and all the technicians are always professional, friendly, and never make you feel rushed. We've opened the door for them to recommend services (we might need brakes, etc...) but they've always been honest and never tried to upsell anything. Prices are great, work is great, this is a family place you can trust.

TJ Crossman runs a great shop and has a great team of techs. They are fast and efficient and did an excellent job. Mr Crossman goes the extra mile to assure a great experience. When the rental car company did me wrong TJ gave me the shop car to borrow. He even followed up to see how the car was running a few weeks later. Great service and great work.

This was the first time my vehicle was serviced at TJ Crossman's Auto Repair, and I was delighted as a customer throughout the entire process. The staff at TJ's are very knowledgeable, professional, respectful, and helpful. And the facility is the cleanest auto repair shop I have ever been in. (For real!)

They do good work. Can't argue that in any way shape or form. But when a 300$ part and 70$ oil change winds up totaling some 800$ i won't be going back. I understand that there is labor involved but i was told six some over the phone.
Edit: they made good on fixing the error and reimbursed me for it. Thank you guys.
