The first time I went to Silk my appointment was lost. I had to be squeezed in by a gentleman who I could tell had absolutely no interest in doing my hair. I said I would never come back again. Then a few weeks ago I decided to give them a try again. So far I'm glad I did. My second appointment started late because my stylist was late, but what she lacked in timeliness that day she thoroughly made up for in customer service and attention to detail. She did a full assessment on my hair asked detailed questions and gave suggestions to get my hair back in "fighting form". The next appointment was

Upscale atmosphere the studio is neatly designed organized comfortability and a great location downtown.The professional hairdressers make you feel welcome when you enter the studio. They offer affordable pricing w/ safety guidelines for customers during this Covid-19 health issue. It's like walking in w/ cotton hair but leaving out w/ a Silk Hair experience. Customer care is definitely not these peoples priority- especially jasmine. I have been there a couple of times myself and each time they either did my hair late or canceled the appointment last minute. And each time this has happened she show no remorse at all!!
Almost as if i’m not paying her. Would not recommend unless you want to spend your whole afternoon waiting for her only to experience some rude service.

My overall experience here was nothing but amazing. From the atmosphere to the stylist. The reason why I put 3 stars was because even though I was satisfied with my hair( it’s natural), my stylist fried my hair. I washed my hair today and I have so many straight ends it’s crazy. This not my first silk press so I know once I wash my hair, my curls supposed to bounce back. I don’t think she did it intentionally but I just wanted to make this situation known. The young lady jordyyn was my stylist. Like I said before I don’t think it was intentional

The beginning of the week was kind of a rough day for me and i just wanted to get my hair done as kind of “hair therapy.” Unfortunately, i went to this salon because when I called, stated they had availability same day and i went. Which was a really bad idea because when i got there i explained to the stylist that i never had a relaxer before but i do have dandruff and my scalp is kind of sensitive.
