Dj Vu Hair Studio is a full-service hair studio empowering women all of hair types by offering a tranquil and attentive beauty transformation experience. I have very curly natural hair and I reallllyyyyyy needed a trim. I started off trying to do it myself because I feared there weren't any true natural hair salons in the area.
Going to this place was a shot in the dark. Located between Allen St. and Lombardy St., our salon is in the heart of Richmond's Fan District and Virginia Commonwealth University. To provide every customer with the same beauty transformation experience, guests under 13 years old must not be present unless being serviced. Additionally, guests over 13 years old accompanying a customer shall remain in the lobby unless being serviced. Give us a call to let us know you're running late or can no longer make your appointment.

I had a wonderful experience. What they promise on their website is what you get. There was no waiting for my appointment. Pam did a great job with my hair color and two stranded twists. She really knows her hair. I have very thick long hair and she took care of my twists in record time. I will not do my hair myself ever again.

Pam is the best stylist!! She’s been doing my hair since I was a kid and I won’t go anywhere else!! The salon has a great atmosphere and everyone there is so kind. Pam makes sure that I am satisfied with my style before I leave the salon. Déjà Vu Hair Studio is definitely the place to go and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else to get my hair done!

Pam has been doing my hair since I was a baby! I often also go to Tasha. Both of them together helped me go natural and now my hair is long and healthier than ever. The shop's environment is awesome, there's always good conversations; and no matter what you want done to your hair. They do it all! Once you come to Pam or Tasha you'll never go to anyone else. Promise!
