This is still not over somehow. The salon owner has contacted me stating she is pursuing legal action because she is not represented by the independent contractors that rent the chairs. Michelle texted me this long thing saying I was blackmailing her (don't think she understands what blackmail is) and the cops have contacted us, I don't even know what the charge could possibly be, unless they have created a new law I didn't know about before.

I really like this place for hair coloring, washing, styling and cutting. Michelle Doyle has been my hair stylist for years. This place is clean and personnel are very friendly and welcoming. The place is a nice size offering two floors of services and is handicap accessible. Plenty of parking, but the highlight for me is my hairstylist, Michelle...friendly, personable, compassionate, professional and tries hard to accommodate my last minute appointment requests. She's a gem.

Just when I was giving up on finding a great hairstylist I decided to give it one more try! Took a chance and made an appointment with Leah and I could not be happier!!!!! She did an amazing job!!! I'll start by saying that I liked how my hair came out when I got it done (balayage and haircut, $185+$30tip). Second, the color that I wanted required 3 sessions total (black to pink balayage) therefore $435 total not including tips or the $45 haircut. So after about 4 weeks later I had my next appointment for another balayage but because I got my Covid-19 vaccine the day before I was feeling under the weather which I did not prepare for since I'm healthy and the first vaccine I received I didn't get sick. Came on for a cut and color from Nick and I couldn't be happier. Nick is incredibly talented! My curls are flawless and my purple highlights compliment my hairstyle perfectly. As for the salon itself, it is clean and bright, and from the second I walked in the staff was warm and welcoming which is becoming a rarity because of Covid. It was clear that the health and safety of everyone who walks in has been carefully considered. I felt very comfortable knowing every precaution was being taken to ensure I had a great experience and left looking and feeling my best!

I moved to the Rochester area from out of state two years ago. Prior to that, I had gone to the same stylist for 20 years. For months, I bounced around from salon to salon, never completely happy with anyone ... until I found Leah Fricano. I have been with Leah for over a year now. I came in for a haircut last week with Heidi and have absolutely LOVED the result! Walking in, the salon was beautifully reiterated and felt very welcoming. There were some jewellery and other small things for sale, as well as an array of coffee and snacks available to make anyone immediately feel comfortable. I bought a groupon for a cut and full color. I didn't expect anything fantastic because I did get a deal, but this was awful. I was rushed through my whole appointment. At first, the hair dresser, Jennifer, was welcoming and nice. My cut was very minimal with practically no styling. I get brazilian waxes on a regular basis. Was in town, so randomly chose this salon as one of the few that does brazilians in Rochester. Salon seems nice but the Brazilian experience was extremely poor compared to those in Chicago. Normally I experience minimal pain but I actually Jumped and dreaded each time she did a strip. I went there about a year ago for a living social deal, the place was ok nothing really special and quite frankly expensive for the experience. I was grossed out by the fact that there was a little dog just hanging out at the "Spa". Had I seen the dog before I was mid pedicure I would have asked for my money back since that is not the proper place for a pet.
