Once upon a time, deep in the jungle, there lived an ape. This ape lived in a little ape village and had lots of ape friends. One day he realized they all looked the same, and he wanted to be different. As he went over to a rock to sit and ponder this, out of the sky a beautiful canary flew down, landed on his palm and sang him a beautiful song.

Everyone can benefit from spa services at Ape + Canary. Whether it's a massage, manicure, or esthetic treatment, you'll emerge refreshed and renewed and ready take on Rochester, New York. The $60 membership fee is charged to your credit card monthly. Members can choose to have the money draw either on the 1st or 15th of the month.

My girlfriend and I got 90 minute couples massages with Devon and Courtney! I highly recommend the both of them and they did an amazing job! This is honestly the best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had! I’ve been to multiple other places for massages and their deep tissue is nothing like it is here! The both of us were extremely pleased with our experience here!

Just had my second deep tissue massage from Devon, a massage therapist. It was seriously amazing and one of the best I have ever had. He has strong hands, is knowledgeable in his technique and incredible with anatomy. Highly recommend!!
Secondly, the sanctuary is amazing. Cozy fireplace and comfy couch... love to sip tea and relax in the lounge area with a friend.

Can I rate this place higher than 5 stars???
I've been a member at A+C for a couple months now and honestly, best decision I've made all year. Every time I book an appointment (facials with Taylor, she's beyond incredible) I can spend time in the sauna, the serene lounge area they have, and relax with some tea or coffee. It's such a nice place to unwind and everyone is so friendly. Also, the membership basically pays for itself and as someone who was skeptical at first, it's absolutely worth it if you plan to make a habit of going. :)

Had a massage with Courtney and it was amazing. Totally recommend her. Overall the experience the experience was great. My only recommendations are to replenish the water bottles in the sanctuary more often and to provide body lotion and face moisturizer in the locker room.

Had such a wonderful experience! I spent a much needed self care day there. The staff is all really friendly. The facility is so clean and such a beautiful space! Really enjoyed being able to relax in the sanctuary. The waterfall showers and sauna are a must if you go. Will definitely book again soon!

I recently visited Ape + Canary for the first time with my mom & sister, and we absolutely loved it! We each got a 60 min massage, and all 3 masseuses were amazing! This spa truly excels in every aspect. Each staff member we encountered was knowledgeable, experienced, and professional. The space is beautiful and impeccably clean. They offer robes and sandals for you to wear throughout your stay, beverages available while relaxing in the sanctuary, locker rooms stocked with several products that you may need, and even a little treat in the massage room! Relaxing in the sanctuary was so incredible
