We are open everyday Sunday thru Thursday 11 AM to 8 PM, Friday and Saturday 11 AM to 9 PM. For more than 14 years the Palisades Restaurant and Saloon has been a fixture in the Gunnison valley, providing great, affordable meals to locals and visitors alike. The owner, Scott Frazier, invites you to enjoy a wide selection of American cuisine (check out our Menu page) in the wonderful atmosphere of the west.

Children are always welcome, with a menu designed just for them. Bring the whole gang to Palisades where there's a lot of room and a friendly staff to take care of all your dining needs. Our dining room provides a relaxed atmosphere for that cozy intimate dinner for two or that special occasion for fifty.

Looked good from outside but the food was only ok. It took the waiter 15 min to bring 2 beers and over 45 min for 3 dinner plates. We were placed in a corner (inside) and it was very cold. Honestly hard pass next time

Worst service in town by far. The one server whos been here for years somehow performs worse and worse year after year. Food is good, if it makes it to the table. Prices are fair, when the wait staff puts the correct item on it. 6 attempts in 6 years, and it's never gotten better.

As someone who has been in the service industry for over 10 years I have NEVER left a negative review but I noticed this place somehow has 4 stars and I felt I needed to warn others to stay away. Awful, slow service. Charged for stuff we didn’t order, didn’t receive stuff we asked for. I’m not kidding when I tell you that the service was the worst I’ve ever had. When I finally found someone to fix my bill they only took $2 off… instead of waiting another 20 minutes for someone to help us we just decided to pay for the awful meal and go to city market to grab food since none of us ate

We stopped at Palisades this afternoon while traveling through Colorado. The restaurant was clean, and the food hit the spot perfectly. (Even the picky eater in the group was happy!) And our server, Madeline (Madilyn?), was so pleasant and punctual from the moment she greeted us. After a long day in the car her warm personality helped us all relax and enjoy dinner. It can be hit-or-miss when stopping at a local place on vacation but we all agreed we would happily visit again and recommend to others visiting the Gunnison area.

Had a great lunch! Open roast beef sandwich w/ mashed potatoes. Delicious. Great, friendly service. We tried the fried mushrooms too. Very good.

Paid $40 for this. Got 4 mushrooms on my burger and we asked for chili on the nachos (obviously no chili) I’d understand if they were busy but needless to say not too pleased

The food was good, the service was entertaining. Cracking jokes we made the cutie of a server blush a few times. My brother had digestive problems through the next day...he thinks the steak he ordered was old. There are a few amateurish things going on in his place, but overall a decent experience.

From the get go service was slightly slow, but that is totally understandable in today's world. The servers were all very friendly and were always smiling.
We ordered lunch, and got the pub eggs as an appetizer. We were not disappointed by the flavor they delivered!! Everyone was pleased with their meals, and the portions are pretty large!
Definitely a place to stop in and eat if you're hungry and looking to fill up!

Pet friendly patio, which is always a plus. We ordered the gumbo, which was about average, and we recommend pairing it with something else, as it wasn't very filling. We also got the fried chicken salad, which was beautifully arranged and tasted very fresh. It was very filling. The grapefruit beer was delicious and the peach cobler was amazing!

Worst food ever! I ordered fish and chips , fish was very over cooked and the fries came from the bottom of the sack, little tiny pieces of curly fries. I would have been ashamed to put them on a plate and as a server I would have been embarrassed to serve them! Definitely will not go back!!!

The service was spot on and the food was great especially the chicken noodle soup totally awesome gotta try this place
