I really like pitas and I think they have such delicious curry! They have two locations, one in Crested Butte and one in Gunnison and is a local favorite. I get the third bowl, which has all three of their curry's in one. The only sad thing is that because of the housing crisis in the Gunnison County, so they had to up their prices.

Who would've thought that the pita joint was the place to watch college football in town?! First off, this hidden gem seems like a little Greek lunch place from the outside but inside it's a huge sports bar!!!
Even while packed, staff was nice and attentive. Food came at a reasonable time and was hot. Order was right. Bathrooms were clean. All was great and the place was absolutely packed!!
They had happy hour 2-5 with food and drink specials. Lots of local and domestic beers to choose from whether bottle or draft. Prices of beer were great and under 6 dollars for a craft beer even

We were actually at Birdies next door, but my understanding is they are owned by the same person. Anyway, Mike was working the evening we came in. What a nice guy! Extremely friendly and very attentive. We ordered the pulled pork pita with french fries. It was so delicious! I would have never thought of a pita with pulled pork and the cole slaw on it really took it up a notch! My husband also ordered some mushroom soup and was pretty impressed! Keep up the FANTASTIC service and the AWESOME food !

Great place for lunch. Very casual atmosphere and the bartenders were very attentive and nice. Enjoyed their home made hummus and a Greek salad with chicken. There were so many items on the menu including a burger menu. Watermelon Sangria was amazing - not too sweet. Loved the atmosphere and plan on being back very soon.

The food and service here was amazing! We came in for some lunch during 'happy hour' and the woman taking our order told us about the food specials going on so that we could get the best price for our money. The loaded fries are hands down the best thing we had and I would highly recommend ordering them. We also got the Thai and Calcutta bowls with tofu and gyro meat, both of which were delicious. The atmosphere was awesome and we really enjoyed our meal there.

FOOD: Great food. Cashier wasn't truly knowledgeable about the food. I had the falafel pita & hubs had the OG. Both were yummy. Hummus was great, as was the mushroom soup. (Not crazy about the self-serve soup, but that's my opinion.) Fries were legit--I couldn't stop eating them. No pics, but the old ones are still accurate.

Stopped in here for lunch. It's a beautiful sunny day so sat out on the patio. Ordering is very efficient - you order inside and are given a table number, and they bring your order to wherever you are seated. I received my pita fairly quickly - and it was delicious. I went with the OG - thinly sliced very flavorful lamb, tzatziki, tomato, lettuce and feta. The feta was very fine/light and the sandwich was delicious! I will for sure be back to try other menu items!!

Our family was visiting Crested Butte in the mud season, so we were super grateful for the restaurants that were open in this "off-season." We had a great experience at Pitas in Paradise- our family of five devoured the loaded greek fries, hummus, and OG gyros. The cocktails are creative and delicious - the watermelon sangria was 100. Happy hour prices are helpful too!

I am hoping that this was just a one off, but my wife and I purchased a couple of Reuben pitas that we were very excited about after a big bike ride.
We were sadly disappointed. We got a previously frozen pile of microwaved meat, cheese, and cabbage doused in thousand island. It was microwaved so flipping hot that we couldn't open the wrappers for 10 minutes.
Sadly this has become pretty typical of restaurants these days. They think because of Covid they can just send out there nasty, frozen, microwaved, cat food and charge full prices. We won't be back even after Covid.

This place has been here forever, but has increased in capacity and in its menu. Soup is homemade everyday and is delicious. Rice dishes, awesome. Pita's obviously. Happy hour is a GREAT happy hour between 3pm(?) and 6pm. Prices are higher than I would like, but great place to check out if you are visiting and want to check out a local eatery.
