When my fiancé passed unexpectedly and we did not know what to do or expect. We worked with Kristen and the Heritage team and they were there to guide us and did not pressure or push anything. We were very pleased with the entire experience and would highly recommend the Heritage team. Thank you Kristen for taking such good care of us and being so caring during a very difficult time!

From the moment we met Kristen and Darin when they came to pick up my dad to the time we laid him to rest, I felt cared for and didn’t worry about details. Kristen helped us through every detail with an aura of grace and compassion. They were there for our family 10 days later when my nephew passed away. I will always remember and appreciate how Kristen treated and helped our family during a very sad and overwhelming time. Highly recommend their service!

My brother passed away on April 27, 2020 in SD, I am in RI and decided to select Heritage Funeral Home to handle the arrangements to transport my brother to his home in RI. Kristen Peterson (FD) was able to accommodate our needs in a professional and helpful manner, providing me with excellent service from the beginning to the end. I would recommend anyone in the SD area to definitely use Heritage Funeral Home for compassionate and dignified funeral services.

I don't even know where to start. I'm still processing my brother's death. My dear friend Katie put me in contact with Kristen who arranged for my brother's body to be transferred from the morgue. This was the first death in my family, devastated and extremely stressful not knowing where to start. I don't think I would've been able to do it without such compassionate staff. I communicated with Kristen and Matt via phone from Arizona. When I arrived a week later everything was perfect from the first phone call to holding on to his ashes until I can make arrangements for him here in Arizona. They

Aside from a relatively minor delay in posting my mother's obituary, Heritage Funeral Home did a mostly good job...right up until time for the viewing at her church. About 30 minutes prior to when the viewing was supposed to start they still had not arrived at the church with my mother's body. I called and was assured they were "on the way" and would be there in "about 10 minutes". They were not. They arrived literally three minutes before the public viewing was to start. (Dad was to have had private time with mom before public viewing started.) By the time all setup
