Miller Funeral Home provided excellent service for us. Honestly, the last thing I wanted to worry about was trying to remember all the things that needed to be done or had to be done, but they took care of all that for us. They worked with us to make sure that what we wanted and what my dad wanted was what we got. They have been so kind and even checked on us after everything was over to make sure we were all doing ok. I highly recommend them!

I cannot recommend Miller Funeral home enough. Karl was our funeral director when we lost our baby and he was so kind and patient with all of our questions. Returned all calls/ texts promptly and worked hard to meet all of our requests and wishes. He organized and set up everything, which was such a weight off of us as we navigated through the events following our loss. We are forever grateful.

When my dad died suddenly and unexpectedly, I didn’t feel like I had much control over anything. As soon as we started working with our funeral director, Karl Koball, it became clear that Miller Funeral Home would guide us and support us in honoring our dad. Karl respectfully went at our pace. For us that meant stopping to tell stories about dad, laughing through tears, asking questions about cremation, looking at samples of paper programs (folders) and finding ways to customize everything to represent our dad. I can’t thank Karl enough for empowering me to best tell my dad’s life story.

Planning a funeral for your loved one is one of the last tributes you can do for them, and doing so in deep shock and grief is too much to almost handle. I know because in losing our Dad, we were in shock, disbelief and completely ill prepared to make the necessary decisions to plan a funeral Dad deserved. However, Matt, Carl and every other gentle soul that works at Miller Funeral Home were absolutely amazing. Taking time to answer all of our questions, listening to our specific requests and guiding us through the planning process with respect, understanding and kindness. And although, I may never

I wasn't sure how to select a funeral home.
I wasn't sure what all my needs would be.
I can tell you what I received.
Sympathy; Compassion; Direction.
Our loved one, a Veteran, was to be interred at Arlington National Cemetery Virginia. Matthew, Cora and Teri provided daily updates on the process and what to expect. They coordinated travel arrangements, both ground and air. Matthew worked with Arlington National Cemetery as well as a local DC funeral home to make the transition to their care seamless. All on our time-line. We never were rushed or pressured into moving faster than we were able

In August , My husband passed away from Pancreatic Cancer . My heart was broken yet I had to prepare for his funeral and internment. I had no idea where to start . My husband always stated that he wanted Miller’s Funeral Home to be where he would be taken when he died. On our first meeting I was so thankful for their guidance and knowledge. There are so many things to take care of and through their years of experience, they guided us through the process. It was an immense relief when I was told they could take care of everything when I gave them life insurance assignment. That means they are

I feel betrayed after working with Miller Funeral Home.
I chose them because they advertise themselves as the only local funeral home with on site cremation facilities. Their website says:

"Our on-site crematory allows you to be sure your loved one is never out of our care. It matters!"

When I picked up my mother's remains and death certificates, I was incredibly disappointed to read that cremation was actually performed by Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home in Yankton!
No one even called to let us know! THIS MATTERS!
