Our Montessori school is dedicated to the goal of providing excellent early childhood education and daycare programs to meet the needs of working parents. We happily enroll students of any race, color or ethnic origin. Licensed by the California State Department of Social Services, and staffed by trained and experienced teachers, we provide a creative curriculum in a rich, well equipped environment.

Services
The teachers at our school are educated, loving and dedicated to your children! They plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the children. The teachers ensure the learning environment is clean and safe. They comfort children and build their esteem.
Montessori School of Kearny Mesa is dedicated to the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori in the belief that her teachings provide a scientifically based system which not only aids the child during early development but throughout the child's dignity as a person, and a strong desire to help the child realize his or her fullest potential in society.
Not only do we have students from Oceanside but we service Carlsbad, Vista and San Marcos. We offer individualized care to Infants, Toddlers, Pre-School and Elementary Students in these areas of North County San Diego. When people think of Carlsbad, the first thing that possibly comes to mind is Legoland.
The key element to our elementary school program is what Dr. Montessori called "the cosmic curriculum." The children in this program learn how everything in our universe is connected. Each day the children follow a daily routine that provides them with countless opportunities to add to their wealth of knowledge.
Our school is licensed to care for eight infants, with a one to four ratio. Our caring and fully trained teachers, offer a comfortable and loving atmosphere to our babies. The infant care environment is nurturing, stimulating, and soothing with plenty of hugs, cuddles, talking and listening. Our dedicated staff will pay close attention to your child's needs, and surround him/her with feeling of warmth and security.

Besides the inconvenient location, busy parking lot there's a lot that left me with concerns. While it wasn't a bad experience it wasn't great. I'd liken it to buyers remorse and not waiting a bit longer to get the exact same vehicle but with all the bells and whistles down the road with better customer service.
This school has been around a long time but I didn't know the history until I accidentally stumbled upon a news article about a 3 year old that died at the school 9 years ago due to negligence; purely preventable. I found out weeks after enrolling my child. It probably would have affected

Our daughter has been here for 3 years and just moved up to 1st grade. This school is amazing and Goes from infants up through 6th grade. The teachers are wonderful and so loving to our children ❤️ it's a 12:1 ratio so each child gets a lot of attention and the Montessori methods and tools used to help children Learn is incredible. This school always has something going on, annual Musicals, talent shows, field trips etc...
The preschool side was so much fun and our daughter ((and myself)) miss her lunches over there. The kids get heathy homecooked lunches everyday; spaghetti, scrambled eggs

After the birth of my first son, I had to return to work before I wanted to. The idea of leaving him to go to work left me heartbroken. I am so happy we choose MSO. My oldest son has been attending for almost 4 years now. He is now in Room 6 and our youngest is in Room 3. They both started in Room 1 and we have watched our boys develop, flourish and thrive in each classroom.
I cannot say enough good things about this program. The relationships my children have developed with their teachers helps takes away some of the guilt I have of being a working mom. My sons love their teachers like family
