I was in a bind because my regular hairdresser wasn't available and I had waited way too long for a haircut!
I looked here on yelp for another recommendation and this place came up.
Lots of good reviews about Natalia the owner.
She's very nice, and I loved the cut. It was also refreshing to see reasonable prices versus the inflated Scottsdale prices.

My first visit today and so happy with the results. I had come for the coloring but decided to get a hair cut during my session with Natalia. The color turned out beautiful but it is how she cut my hair that showed me what a gem she is. Very talented and super fun to talk to. I'll be back. Thank you!

I scheduled an appointment based off the high Yelp reviews and I was not disappointed! I requested a hair cut with layers and curtain bangs and my hair came out even better than I imagined! I also got the Nioxin dermabrasion treatment and my scalp feels very clean and refreshed! Natalia is a skilled hairstylist and also an amazing person to talk to! She is very attention to detail oriented and I really appreciated that, very pleased with my hair and overall experience definitely will be coming back again(:

Natalia is seriously excellent. She took a terrible cut that I'd gotten elsewhere and gave me a super cute cut/style that I can work with while letting my hair grow. She has a very pleasant personality & is a joy to have met, she is very talented & has tremendous knowledge. I live about an hour from her salon but will be returning. She is priceless!

I was in search for a hair stylist since mine moved too far. I found Natalia on Yelp and read the reviews and figured I would give her a try. Natalia is a good listener. You tell her what you want and she either can make it happen or tell you the truth and reason why.
I say this because I cut my own hair and did a lousy job.
She fixed what I did, and cut my hair beautifully. I need to let some areas grow again, due to my chop job, but she told me that and was very honest. Something I very much appreciated. Natalia has gotten a new client in me, and I look forward to seeing her next time

Excellent visit with Natalia today! This was my first time and I started with a consultation as I have had some minor issues in the past with stylists. Natalia was super friendly and open to what I was after. She had availability before her next appt and was able to get me in for a hair cut right away. She was very thorough making sure everything was even even after it was dry and moved around a little bit. I will definitely be coming back!

I visited Layered Locks in February/2018 following the good reviews.
I was not disappointed. Natalia gave me an excellent hair cut.
I was impressed by her professional standards and her great personality. She took the time to listen to my hair "problems" and to my preferences and requests. I am very happy with the hair cut she gave me. I am happy to recommend her. She is an excellent hair stylist.

What a pleasant experience! Natalia cut and colored my very long hair with ease and her experience shone through with beautiful results!

Do NOT go to this salon if you are requesting any sort of complex color!!! I made an appointment based on Yelp reviews and this was a MAJOR mistake! I recently moved to the area and previously had my old hair dresser do balayage/ombré. She knew going in I already had this hairstyle. I will admit that my hair was grown out because of moving/lack of hairdresser. Natalia refused to do my color because she didn't feel comfortable and didn't want an "experiment". I found Natalia on Yelp and went to her based on the positive reviews she already had. I am so thankful I did. I had VERY long straight hair and knew I wanted to change the style and add in lots of layers and bangs. I had a few pics of haircuts that I brought to show her. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted. I told her I wanted to keep as much length as I could and she was so careful to try to keep it long that I actually had to ask her to take more off and reassure her it was ok to go shorter. I got my hair done by Natalia in June, she turned my grown out damaged bleach blonde with dirty blonde/brown roots to a beautiful red/strawberry blonde combo. Since my hair was 2 different colors, we did have to go in and do my ends a second time a few days after my first appointment, but Natalia was very nice and willing to have me come back in to finish making it look seamless! I have attached two pictures, the before and after. The after picture is actually before the 2nd red dye job on my ends, so the ends look a little lighter in the after picture than they ended up turning out to be. Love

Natalia has been cutting and highlighting my hair for over 5 years now because her work is consistently outstanding! She is a great listener and can create any style - bold or subtle. I trust her completely with my hair! She is also honest and will suggest suitable ideas, if necessary. Her fees are surprisingly affordable. I have paid triple for what she charges for sub-par results. And from a social standpoint, she has a wonderful sense of humor and is fun to visit with.
