I am a licensed clinical professional counselor with a private practice in Frederick. I see adolescents and adults with a wide range of concerns and struggles who are in need of individual therapy. I practice as a generalist but offer subspecialties in working with adolescent, young adults, and supporting LGBTQIA+ clients.
I am also a professor in the Department of Psychology and Counseling at Hood College, and the Program Director for the Masters of Science in Counseling. I hold a Master's degree from University of Pennsylvania and a Ph. D. in Counseling from George Washington University.

Services
I practice from an integrative perspective, primarily making use of an interpersonal approach with mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral techniques to support our work. This means that I prioritize establishing and maintaining trusting and supportive connections with all my clients, and work to ensure that my clients and I have honest and open relationships that ensure both of our investment in their progress.
