If you do not have one or need a disposable for your color service we will provide you with one. No additional guests are allowed to accompany you in the salon unless a caregiver or family member. Services
Green Circle Salons is a specialized recycling and re-purposing program. This allows all of our hair, foils, color tubes, plastics, papers, and chemicals to be diverted out of our landfills and water systems, which accounts for 85-95% of the waste in our Salon. For example, your hair can be used to help clean up oil spills, and any extra color that would normally be washed down the sink now can be recycled as well!

Everyone at stylus is always so kind! Prices are reasonable, location is great, and service is even better. Courtney is my stylist and she is so wonderful, I cannot recommend her enough. For both color and cut she listens to what I am asking for, she is patient, and thorough. Walking out of the salon I feel great and fall in love with my hair.

Absolutely love this place!! I have been twice now, both times for pretty dramatic cuts (7+ inches) and have seen Courtney both times. Not only has she consistently given me incredible cuts that ACTUALLY give volume to my very fine, very straight, and very oily hair (a task I thought was impossible until my first visit with her), but she is also super friendly and genuine- we never ran out of things to talk about! They have been handling the pandemic well and are flexing on the hours available for appointments. Everything feels very clean.
Matt does a great job with my long hair. I get my hair thinned and I trust him to do this and have been very happy with the results. Back when I used to get my hair washed at the salon he was understanding that I wanted to use my own products as I am sensitive to smells. Plus he doesn't put any product on after the cut per my request. Always come away happy with my cut.

This review is long over due. I’ve been getting services done at Stylus since I moved to Belltown in 2013.
Jeremy is usually my go to for haircut and color, but the owner Robert will sometimes do a color touch up.
Both are so incredibly amazing, talented, and reliable. I have dark brown hair and many hair stylists have a hard time lightning my hair (it usually turns out copper,l, not great). However, Jeremy has lightened several times which turned out great.
I also get sugaring services done with Anissa and she is a gem! She doesn’t settle for less than amazing and is so personable.

Went to get a simple short haircut from Robert. $100 with tips he didn't deserve, and I need to redo it right away because the quality is so low.
Robert has no idea what "same length all around" means, he asked me what "45 degrees angle" is (guess math wasn't his fave in school) , and he doesn't know what word "symmetric" means. Now my hair on the right side is longer than on the left side, and little strands are sticking out here and there, while it was supposed to be smooth and even all around.
His hands where shaking. He also kept me, with wet hair

I have been seeing Ali Schneider for almost two years and she has saved my hair! I love fun bright colors and she always takes my ideas and makes them even better than I could have imagined. She knows how I feel about my hair losing any length and has made sure to only trim split ends rather than taking any length off. Because she has taken such care of my hair it has literally doubled in length since I've been seeing her. Matthew is superb. I've been in twice for a haircut and partial foil. Both times and both services he knocked out if the park. Beautiful color and lovely cut. I told Matthew that I wear my hair back most days for work so he foiled it in a way that doesn't show any streaks of color. Perfect. The cuts are always on point, exactly what I want but better than I imagined. I'm a fan of this salon. All the staff are very professional, salon is cleanly designed and most of all I have lucked out on my hairstylist amd colorist, Jeremy. He does my hair so well each time, that I always get compliments from other people no matter what hairstyle or hair color I have. His love for his work shows. Stylus also features different works of art on their walls, which makes one's visit a bit more interesting than your usual salon visit. I would recommend this salon to anyone!

A couple years ago I was treated egregiously here by a cruel stylist named Jacqui who had an Auburn bob... I came in for a consult and thought things went well... I later emailed her for a price quote and was rudely emailed back telling me to go somewhere else. Very bizarre. I felt discriminated against for being a young trans youth. I told the owner and he gave me some really bad outdated
& frosty highlights to try to smooth things over. But he allowed the unprofessional Jacqui to stay on staff. I feel the need to warn other LGBTQ people how transphobic and horrible this place is. Shameful

Matt is amazing! I've had such a hard time finding a hairdresser in seattle. I've been to at least 3 different hair dressers here and no one seems to be able to do the precision layering and exact shape I'm after. Matt knows how to use all the newest techniques to give a great haircut. Within 10 minutes after leaving Stylus someone stopped me on the street and asked for my hairdressers name!! That's when you know it's a good haircut.

I absolutely love the salon. It's super easy for me to get to on the bus or I can walk there from work. I've been seeing Ali for a few months now and she's so good to my hair! I'm growing my hair out from a short bob and she's always mindful of my goal when we do color, keeping it healthy so it can grow out long and luscious eventually! I've never been one to spend much on my hair and I've often done my own color at home. But after coming to see Ali and seeing the end result, I feel that it's so worth it to have a professional take care of it the right way.

Jacqui is AMAZING. She is able to work with my cowlicks and crazy hair so that it is easy to style and I don't have to put too much effort into it. When I come to her with something specific in mind, she nails it every time, and when I want a change but don't know what I want, she's always got the right suggestion. She's PHENOMENAL at cutting short female hairstyles (I currently have a pompadour), and she nails the color EVERY time.

I first came into Stylus for a two-week fill after two failed attempts of finding the right esthetician. The first, refused to give me feedback on my lashes and left me feeling clueless about lash extensions, short $100 and lashes that looked like what I started with. The second time around with a different esthetician added lashes that were too thick and heavy for my natural lashes causing my natural lashes to break and become weaker than they already were.

Anissa is such an amazing lash artist and person! I would not go anywhere else. She does an impeccable job every single time, and always tailors the lash length and volume to what I have going on. She really amped them up for my wedding in June, and I was so happy with the results! The appointments are always super comfortable and fun. If you are interested in trying eyelash extensions, I would highly recommend Anissa! You will not regret it.

Got a great color and style from Jeremy. Came to him with an idea that hadn't been done before and he translated it to a great new style and even took the time to teach me how to style my hair how I would like. I will also be booking another cut with Courtney soon as she does a fantastic job.
