The A/C system cools the inside of your vehicle. It also helps defrost the windshield by removing moisture from the inside air during the winter. Rattling noise coming from the engine area or a hissing noise from the dashboard when the A/C or defroster is on?. At Rocky's, we do a complete brake inspection.
We will listen to your concerns and description of what's wrong, diagnose the root cause of the issue, and develop an estimate for the cost of the repairs. We call you to discuss the estimate and get your approval to proceed with the work before any repairs begin. That way, there are no unpleasant surprises when you come to pick up your vehicle.
Cans of refrigerant are readily available in the auto parts stores. We don't recommend using them. Here's why: the A/C system has an optimum low-side pressure and a high-side pressure. The can attaches to the low-side service port and the gauge only tells you the low-side pressure. Meanwhile the high-side pressure is probably wrong.

Rocky's was one of the best experiences I've had with a repair shop. When another shop gave me an estimate in excess of 700.00, Rocky's was ablle to fix for substantially less. My ac works great now and I am grateful for a car shop that knows what it's doing and doesn't try to overcharge. Will definitely return for future repairs.

Rocky took my car in the same day to fix my a/c issue, was done in record time. The price was about half of what two other places quoted. Rocky is straightforward in his dealings and you can be confident the price will be reasonable and his workmanship is flawless. Plus there is a senior discount! Rocky is my go to mechanic from now on!

Rated so highly for a reason! I travel the country for my job, and brought my RAM 1500 in because the brakes started to feel funny and the engine was making a sound I hadn't heard before (have 40k miles on the truck). I had the rear differential fluid changed too. Left the truck overnight, they called with the diagnostics which turned out to be nothing. I was able to pay over the phone and pick up my vehicle after hours. They were nice, honest, matter-of-fact, accommodating, all in all just outstanding service. If I need my truck serviced again while I am out here, I will be back!
