In the summer of 2013, First Baptist Church in Midlothian, Texas, conducted a community-wide survey to see what the greatest needs were in our community. A picture of our town became clearer, and it was a picture of a people who had hidden struggles in their lives. People wanted a place to turn to, a safe haven where they could reach out for help.
Lucinda earned her Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Southwestern Assemblies of God University and is approved by the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Lucinda also holds a BBA from Baylor University. Long before she earned her professional degree in counseling she was mentoring and teaching youth in her home church for over 15 years.
