Here at the Denver Shaolin Kung Fu Tai Chi Institute, we pride ourselves on teaching the best in traditional and contemporary Chinese Martial Arts (CMA). All of our instructors have trained in China, Korea, and across the US. We bring their wealth of knowledge and experience to the Denver Metro area.
Our aim is to help everyone, from young to old, to be more healthy, confident, and to have an overall improved sense of wellness. For our younger students, that involves improving self-discipline, building a strong work ethic, and gaining an understanding of oneself and one's capabilities.

Shaolinquan (Shaolin Temple Kung Fu) is a dynamic martial art created over 1500 years ago. Created by the monk Damo, it is still practiced and taught at the Shaolin Temple in China. The Shaolin Temple, and Shaolin Kung Fu, are considered the birthplace and progenitor of all Asian Martial Arts. Shaolin Kung Fu is a full body style, and is a quick, powerful, and smooth, combining hard and soft elements.

Those people just looking for money, even without giving any services. they charge me monthly, Although I asked to cancel the service due to the Coronavirus, and every time I called them to get the money back, and after the expiry of the year contract with five months (I don't remember there was a contract), they renewed the contract on their own and started charge my credit again, and when I called and asked them to return the money, he refused and hung up the phone in my face, and two minutes later they withdrew an additional two months of the visa.

I joined this school in mid June and have loved my experience there. I am able to progress at my own pace, Sifu John is very observant and well versed at teaching. The other students are also very friendly and welcoming.
I only wish my son was old enough to take the children's Wushu classes!

I have been there about 4 months. I try to attend five days a week. It is terrific. The teachers are no nonsense and get it that everyone has their own pace and physical condition. I have lost almost 10 pounds since starting and would go seven days a week if they were open that often.
All three sifus (John, Chris, and Paul) are highly skilled, accessible and not put off by any sort of question.

I tried out Denver Shaolin Kung Fu Institute on a whim with my best friend. Now I'm on my way to becoming Aang from Avatar The Last Airbender. In all seriousness, training at DSKFI has allowed me to grow my physical and mental fitness while teaching me a valuable form of martial arts and self-defense. The Shifu's are great and are super willing to break down movements to help me learn forms. Shout out to Johnny - even the members of the class create a great community.

This is a REAL Shaolin school for Kung Fu, Tai Chi, and Qigong. Every session, I learned and improved so much. My kids loved it too. Paul is amazing with them! They progressed so quickly, and were always taught just above their level to keep them stretching toward excellence. It's tough! It will get you in shape. It will change you.
I regret so much that we only had one season to train at the Institute. We are moving out of state now, and I doubt we will find another school quite like this one.

I have been training under Sifu Tony for almost 6 years now and he has amazing knowledge of Chinese Kung Fu. His teaching style is very old school and is very rooted in tradition. He keeps the "Martial" in Martial Arts which is rare to have in Martial Arts schools nowadays. In all, great school, amazing teacher with amazing knowledge!

This school is, without a doubt, the best martial arts experience in Colorado, and, likely, most of America. Sifu Tony's experience is invaluable. What he offers is real, traditional, Shaolin Kung Fu, and the Shaolin Temple in China has recognized his teaching as such.
His education encompasses all aspects of traditional martial arts, not only fitness, but mind and spirit as well. He makes his students work hard, but hard work is necessary to truly develop skill, and I have only seen people improve their lives as a result of his training, kids and adults alike. Come for the kung fu, stay for the

Sifu Tony is an amazing teacher with immense experience with Kung Fu. When I started my search for a place to study Martial Arts - I tried a lot of places and I have never once regretted the decision to attend Denver Shaolin Kung Fu Taichi Institute! Not only do you learn the movements, but you learn the practical applications and correct way to do them, along with explanations (which is super important to me) as to why it should be done that way. If you’re looking to learn Kung Fu or just Martial Arts in general - this is definitely the place to go!

Been training on and off in Kung Fu for the last two years. I started training at the Kung Fu and Tai Ji Institute early this August and it has been the most fun I've ever had training. Students are pretty down to Earth and nice. The atmosphere here is pretty light and you can train Monday-Saturday which i think is awesome. Classes are 1.5 hours which is enough time to get 1-on-1 time with Sifu Tony. I personally go five times a week because i enjoy it that much. Great place to train, great teacher, and great students.
