I went to another Easton school for around 3 years, they were very good and professional, I learned BJJ skills very well with their team's instruction. I tried to get back into it with HAMA, an associated school, but had some challenges early on and couldn't continue. Staff was very professional and worked with me well, I hope to return at some point in the future.

Went in with two buddies, none of us had BJJ experience and were still able to learn from both the instructor, and the other students in the class. Everyone is so nice here, from the staff that help organize to bring you in, to the instructors that teach, and to the other students learning.
While I came with two friends, I'd recommend this gym to anyone who is thinking about joining a gym solo. This community will welcome you with open arms!

Visited this gym for two weeks. One of the best gyms in America. Classes were well structured, working in techniques that link. It is very easy for beginners to pick up the advanced techniques as the instructors go into deep detail for it. People were friendly and there is hardly any egos in the gym. Very well planned classes and progression which suits all levels.

If you're going to train BJJ in Aurora, this is the place. I trained here for 2 years and learned a lot. The curriculum is very structured, the coaching is excellent, and they can teach to any skill level, age or body type. There is a positive training culture, and rolling is as light or competitive as you want. Gym is clean and well kept. Can't say enough good things. Highly recommended!

I trained at HAMA for a bit over 2 years, and I can say it is the best gym I've ever experienced. From day one the staff/coaches we're inviting and the students were all the same. I learned invaluable knowledge and work ethic at this gym and i cant be more grateful. I honestly can't say enough amazing things about this gym.

My daughter's girl scout troop went to a self-defense class at High Altitude Martial Arts and I literally cannot even describe how great it was. All the girls were engaged and loving every moment of the class and my daughter even practiced what she learned the whole rest of the evening! They taught them effective methods for when/if they are ever bullied and emphasized that physically protecting yourself is important but the last option. I also really loved that all the coaches were strong and empowered women.

I was looking for a school not only to learn martial arts but to have a community to live life with. This place definitely provides that environment. You will learn to develop yourself as a person, helps to create discipline and self confidence and also have a martial arts family. Cody and the coaches are amazing at what they do, you wont be dissapointed trying this place out.

Excellent teaching, tons of classes offered, lots of mat space and great students! I've been to several Jiu Jitsu gyms since I've moved around a lot.
The environment here is different in a good way. The teaching style is very well rounded and everyone is just looking to improve and help each other out. Highly recommended!

I needed something to mix up my workout routine, lifting for 2 years and doing barely any cardio or core work, so I decided to try kickboxing. After a friends referral, I took my first class here at High Altitude and it was honestly the most fun I've ever had working out. Step by step teaching and hands on practicing that is physically and mentally engaging. Not only will this give me variety from my daily gym routine but it'll also become a new hobby for me thanks to High Altitude.

High Altitude Martial Arts is a fantastic option for kids and adults looking to learn BJJ, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, or just want somewhere to work out at. As part of the Easton circle, they do follow the same curriculum for BJJ however their kickboxing curriculum is different so if you are coming from an Easton gym, you will learn a different style of kickboxing rather than tradition Muay Thai. Also their Muay Thai fundamentals class is more on the basic and beginner side, going over stances, proper way to punch, angles, and more. I really enjoy coming here once in a while to get a different perspective

Had to update my previous review from 4 to 5 stars. Been here 6 months now for my ten year old for bjj and he has absolutely loved it. It has given him so much confidence. The coaches are great and he has improved so much- I owe them a big thanks. The gym is clean and functional and the people are nice. I'm so happy we found it!

I have always been interested in taking a self defense class but I have never had enough courage to do so. This gym makes the beginning process feel so natural. The front desk guy, Joe, is so welcoming, helpful, and is always willing to answer any questions anyone has.
I have taken both BJJ and kickboxing classes and I thoroughly enjoy them both. I've taken BJJ classes with Avery, Cody, Shaun, and Pat. They each have their own unique teaching style and I like that everyday is different. I've taken kickboxing classes with Jarrod, Corbin, and Cory and they are awesome. I loved that everyone
