I've been cutting, coloring and styling hair for over a decade. I love what I do, and enjoy working with all types and lengths of hair. Since opening its doors in 2011, Sarah Kahn Hair has welcomed people with open arms to its gender-neutral salon and clean beauty boutique in Seattle's MarQueen Hotel. We're all about creating a warm, intimate, fun vibe and making sure everyone feels at home with us (and did we mention it's super cute?).
We are a gender neutral salon and all services are based on length and density. Each haircut comes with an individual consultation, providing each client with a flattering cut customized their lifestyle and personal style. It also comes with a luxurious scalp massage and custom blowout. Prices vary by stylist please inquire prior to booking.
The amount of plastic packaging on U.S. products (not just on personal care items) has increased by over 120 times since 1960-with almost 70 percent of that waste piling up in landfills. We want to support you in this sustainable journey and make it easy! Sarah Kahn Hair is recycling this waste through the TerraCycle Zero Waste Box Program, a recycling platform that works to reuse, up cycle and recycle waste.
We will try our best to accommodate this request. If you are flexible it may help to put Morning / Afternoon as it will most likely get you in sooner. This will help us decide if we need to add extra time onto your appointment in order to accommodate you. Shampoo, conditioner, styling products, heat protectants, hairsprays really anything is helpful.

I am extremely picky with my hair. I have gotten it cut in Philly and in Atlanta and in NYC the last 3 times. This is the best haircut I’ve ever had, and Taylor was super fun and has a great personality too. I will definitely be coming back, and I already made a return appointment.

I joined the Sarah Kahn Healthcare Club (Subscription Box) and I can't say enough about it. What I love about her selections is that they are not just hair care products. The products range from skincare, beauty, health, hair, home care etc. Such great variety each month! The products Sarah continues to select for each month of the box surprises and delights me each month. This past month, she included these ice globes for your face - and let me tell you, my life is changed!!

I came to Sarah after the sudden death of my 40 year old husband and father of our four children. To say I was feeling vulnerable...is an understatement.
Due to the impact of grief on my body I had lost so much hair and I felt like a mess! Sarah was SO kind and she listened. She said, "I hear you Sarah, and if you will stick with me...we will get you the best hair of your life in 12 months!"
She made good on her word in less time than that. :)

Sarah and Taylor are both true experts and insanely talented. My postpartum hair situation was dire, to say the least. Sarah and Taylor both made me feel like I was on the road to recovery and have already helped me feel like the new best version of myself. If you want the best that Seattle has to offer when it comes to hair color and cut, you have found the place! After going to multiple large salons, I've fully been converted to this boutique experience. Between the extensive knowledge Sarah and Taylor possess around hair and making a creative vision an actuality, they will never have me going to another salon. Their services are for everyone (not just hair fanatics). I personally need a low maintenance haircut and color that will last through 6 months, which was done with no issue. Thank you for making me fall in love with my hair again!

I don’t even know where to begin. I LOVE this salon. Taylor is so sweet and is a rockstar stylist. I had no idea how dull my hair was until she got her hands on it and brought it to life. I’ve received so many compliments and it hasn’t even been a full 24 hours yet! This was my third time to the salon (plus two other times for awesome events) and I love it more with each visit. The haircut seems decent , nothing extravagant for the exorbitant price, I paid around $150 for medium length hair , I bought an organic product for skin don't remember the exact cost but I believe my total bill came close to $250 , they really push you to buy products, I believe you can get the same service at less than half the rate at a lot of other decent Salons. Also I realize the skin care product I bought doesn't really feel that good on my skin, so I barely use it, obviously that doesn't mean the product might be bad..

I had been going to the same person for 7 years but couldn't keep driving down to Tacoma. I was really nervous and had put off making the switch for a long time. While scrolling through a local influencers Instagram story I saw Sarah tagged and decided to check her out. I fell in love with her clients hair and her approach to how you care for your hair and skin. I made the move and was blown away! She seriously exceeded my expectations. She gave me an updated cut and AMAZING hair color. More expensive than my previous salon- but SO worth it. I know that the health of my hair is in good hands

SKH is everything. Not only are both Sarah and Taylor amazing hair stylists, they're incredibly nice people, who have great energy and your trip to the salon is always a good one. I've also discovered my favorite products ever from SKH and my hair has never been healthier. Hair appts are expensive but they are worth every single penny, and they are total pros. Also, follow their instagram because it's amazing!

Sarah and Taylor are literally hair magicians. Everything from the consultation, to the atmosphere, to the finished product, is Top Notch! They are truly "artists" and acknowledge that each clients hair is a different canvas. They are thorough, super fun, and make you feel comfortable- but most importantly they listen to what you want and are realistic. I can't think of the last time I really LOVED my hair until they got their hands on me! I'm already looking forward to my next appointment- Definitely worth the 3 hour commute to see them!

Love love love my new haircut. A year ago a different hair stylist damaged my hair and it's still growing back. So to say I was nervous is a understatement.
Taylor listened closely to what I wanted and even made me feel comfortable with going outside my norm. Looking forward to get color by her.

So glad my friend recommended me to see Sarah! My hair was over processed and not highlighted well, and Sarah reversed so much badness in just one visit! Candidly it's the most I've ever spent on hair, but there is a reason why. Sarah and Taylor are so methodical and honest, and my hair looks better than it has in so many years. I found Sarah and Taylor while researching clean beauty salons in the area after moving from Minneapolis. I stopped in without an appointment to buy Davines shampoo and they very helpfully assessed my hair color before I made an appointment with Taylor. Between that first visit and my color appointment, I feel like she very thoroughly explained what she thought would work with my previously colored hair. My color looks amazing! Sarah Kahn Hair is the perfect place for you if you are looking for a long term, personalized, and fabulous hair stylist! They don't mess around. Of course these gals get five stars. I've been going to Taylor for a couple years now and I'm obsessed. These girls are incredible, they not only got my hair from fried and frayed to fabulous but my skin also is glowing. Yeah, it's kinda expensive; but aren't you worth it?

I moved to Seattle a year ago and was in need of a new hair salon. My friend recommended Taylor and I am so happy she did. Taylor does a great job and I always leave super happy with my hair. Sarah has been my hair goddess for close to seven years now, and in that time she's made all of my hair dreams come true - from blonde to dark brown to blue to pink (in one marathon of a day, no less!) and all natural and fashion shades in between - and yes, I still have healthy hair. Before & After. Wow. Both stylists were completely amazing. Seemed totally knowledgeable. Super helpful. Honest and upfront. I came in for a color correction from another salon, and honestly wow. Taylor straight up transformed my hair from yikes to yay! She is beyond talented, probably one of the best in the city. I feel SO much more confident and happy with my results. Will be returning there as my regular salon.

Went in for a haircut earlier this year. At that time, I also had a consultation for balayage because I wasn't really sure what I wanted yet. I wanted to share some pictures and get their opinion and then simmer on it. After a month of two, I reached back out to schedule an appointment and was declined service. I was told that they could not achieve the color I was looking for....but didn't even get a chance to share what I wanted after these last couple of months of thinking on it.
