I want to extend a warm welcome to you on behalf of Positive Alternative. It is our pleasure to serve working parents who want a nurturing, positive environment for their children. We are proud to provide affordable, high quality care since 1988. This site provides introductory information for parents who may be looking for a daycare or preschool for their little ones, and who want to learn about our school.
5 classrooms, 2 large outdoor playground, a large gymnasium, full size kitchen and an extra classroom for enrichment classes. Part of Denver Preschool Program. All families are eligible for sliding scale tuition reimbursement during their Pre-K year. A 12 passenger van that enables us to take the children on a variety of field trips throughout the year.
There is an annual enrollment fee of $100 per year, due at the anniversary of your child's enrollment date to be used for classroom supplies and materials. Positive Alternative accepts payment by check, cash, bank transfer, Venmo or Zelle with no transaction fee. We add a 3% transaction fee for payment by credit card.
1 year olds are a busy group exploring new toys and new people! This room has a 5:1 ratio. The teachers focus on children learning new independence, even at this early age. For many 1 year olds, PA will be their first experience away from family or in a childcare setting outside the home, We work with the children making sure that they feel safe, loved and have a good time while their parents are away.
2 year olds are busy busy busy! They love exploring new crafts such as tape and paint. They can move their bodies and love dancing to music and singing songs. They are also very busy potty training and getting ready for the preschool side of PA. There is a Jack and Jill bathroom in between the 1 and 2 year old room which aides in the potty training process.
