Services
Providing house calls in the Central Arkansas area is a key part of our veterinary services. We have three vehicles available to render this important service. Providing medical care for an animal in the home environment is not only convenient but also reduces the stress on both the pet and pet owner.
As an outreach to pet owners, who may for a variety of reasons find it difficult to transport their pets to the hospital, our veterinary hospital offers an active house call service. Our house call service includes the entire Central Arkansas area. Providing medical care for an animal in the home environment is convenient and reduces the stress on both the pet and pet owner.
Dr. Marilynn Baeyens has been involved in the rehabilitation of wild animals since 1976. She has worked with several groups and agencies over the years. Currently she is working with Raptor Rehab of Central Arkansas, a group organized and headed by Rodney Paul. She also works with Arkansas Game and Fish, and U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

I am a 2nd generation client, choosing Baeyens~Haulk because my mom trusted her dogs to them also. Even when they have no appointments available, they work very hard to get the pet in. I have recommended B/H to people looking for a good vet and will continue to do so.

I called trying to get assistance from this clinic. I simply asked if I could provide a prescription from my Vet for a drug needed for my ill puppy, I also had my Vet request the drug directly. The person that answered the phone could have cared less what was wrong super rude just said we don’t provide prescriptions without seeing the pet. These people are obviously all about money disgusting. Horrible operation!

We carried Buddy to the vet to be neutered. They were all really nice to us and he did well with the surgery. The doctor called and explained everything in lots of detail about what to expect and thing’s to watch out for! Awesome group of people!

She took great care of my snake. She was egg bound. She called and told me what was going on and the price of everything before it was done. I appreciate that! My snake is doing great now and the eggs seem to be doing fine as well! Super greatfull! I wish they had an office in Bryant but totally worth the drive!

I have been taking both of my pups to the Argenta location for the past 6 months or so. Our first visit was for a terrible GI infection that had both dogs extremely sick, thankfully they got it cleared up within a couple days after our visit.
They have been fantastic each time we have gone! They're always quick to get us in for an appointment, getting through their exams, and finding a good treatment for my pups. They have also been one of the only vets that doesn't break the bank when we go! I'm so thankful my family has found them, Baeyens Hauk is now our go to vet.

Miracle workers and they treat you and your pet as family, not sources of income.
1. Saved my friend's six week old puppies from parvo.
2. Allowed me to have someone pick up my dog from treatment without pay because I was dealing with a sudden death in my family and allowed me to come back and pay at my convenience.
3. Sent cards to me by mail expressing condolences for the loss of dog.
4. Honest and up-front about all charges on bills. Will do what they can to get the bills lowered if they find away to get a discount or rebate, even after the fact.
If you love your animal and want them to

I took my rabbit, Coconut, to get spayed here last Friday and they were very reasonable in their pricing! They even helped get rid of a mat she had near her tail when I asked. They had initially given me an estimate of $300-$350 for the spay, so I was going in thinking that it could be even more than that (maybe even $400). The whole procedure (and the pain meds they prescribed for her afterwards) ended up being $280!! Very affordable considering rabbits are considered exotic pets. She's been making a good recovery so far and seems to be feeling herself already. Will definitely be coming back if

Dr. Baeyens treated my bearded dragon for a rectal prolapse. Everyone was so great and caring with the entire situation. I am a new pet owner, this was his first trip to the vet and she took excellent care of him (she also gave me advice on care for him). The nurses are super nice and helpful. They got him in within a day of calling and it was much cheaper than other vet options.
Thank you Dr. Baeyens for all your help!

These people do not care about your dogs. Dr. Hauk and her staff only care about the money that they want to make. I spent about $600 on itchy skin. And no results came out of it. If anything they made it worse bc the medicine now caused moles all over my dog. And they want to pump him with more medicine when they can't identify the problem. This is health care for my fur baby and i am willing to pay whatever. However no accurate diagnoses have been made. Take your kids else where!

We have two Argentinian mastiffs, one doesn't like anyone messing with his nails. We brought him to have them done by "professionals" and told them how he was about them being messed with. No problem they said, they sedated him, not lightly, but totally put him out to do them. This took place at around 1:30pm, we picked him up at 4:30 and he was still out of it. He got back home with a heavily bandaged paw and didn't wake until nearly 9pm. Blood soaked through the bandage to the point he was leaving trails of blood through our house. Keep in mind his nails weren't even

It takes more than just knowledge from a book to be a great doctor. These veterinarians and their staff have really put their hearts into the work that they do. Dr. Droske, you really connected with my family. You gave us the awful diagnosis for our sweet Sadie and you sat down in the floor with us to pet her while we cried and talked. We never felt rushed and I could tell you really cared. Thank you so much! Sadie had to be euthanized two days later in severe respiratory distress due to heart failure. Dr. Griffin, you cried alongside my husband when he came to pickup Sadie's ashes after having

The worst experience we have ever had. We brought our 6 year old Maine Coon in for vomiting and diarrhea. Dr. Hauk called me fairly hysterical several times that day with various diagnoses. First she told me he had cancer and we should prepare for him to die. I was bereft. Then she called and said it wasn't cancer so she was working him up for pancreatitis and diabetes. She called againand said she was now testing him for fluid on his lungs and an enlarged heart. She called and said he was negative for all of these, that it must be a stomach bug and sent us home with a bottle of antibiotics

We've been seeing Dr. Baeyens since 2008. Love her, love her daughter (Dr. Baeyens the younger), and love Dr. Hauk. They're excellent vets, their clinic is professionally run and very caring, and the care my animals receive there is the best. They always address my concerns and can always work us in. Can't imagine bringing our pets elsewhere.

All of the staff and vets at this clinic are amazing. We have been regulars for years following them from a previous clinic since 2008. I would like to specifically mention Dr. Hauk and Dr. Katie Baeyens, they particularly have gone above and beyond to take care of my two dogs, Murray and Ava. I rarely experience this level of genuine care and compassion. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

I know there are a lot of folks who really worry when they have to travel and can't take their fur babies. We found ourselves in that position when we had to travel to California for a week. We decided to board them with the Baeyens Hauk Clinic. That was one of the best decisions we have ever made. While our babies were there 2 of them developed medical issues. Because of the diligence of the staff, especially April, the conditions were promptly treated. Not only that but the Dr spoke with us by phone to explain what what happening and how they would be treated. That was a big load off our

We've only been with the clinic for a month, and we already feel like we're part of the family. Dr. Katie Baeyens has taken such interest in caring for our Great Pyrenees pup, going way beyond the standard procedures of new puppy visits. Katie has counseled us on nutrition, obedience training, visits to the dog park and so much more that goes into owning a large breed dog.
Here's the surprising thing about this level of care - Baeyens-Hauk Veterinary Hospital fees are way less than we were quoted from several NLR & Sherwood veterinarians.
We are big fans!
