When you need quality pipe repair in Northern Virginia, The Irish Plumber, Inc. responds quickly to minimize damage and repair the cause of the problem. We know just how devastating the damage from leaking, broken, and rusted pipes can be, which is why we waste no time in arriving on the scene of the problem and diagnosing the issue.
A faucet leak is one of the most common issues in a home. From bathrooms to kitchens to laundry sinks, worn out washers, seats, o rings, and seals can cause a faucet leak that ranges from an inconvenience to a catastrophe. When you have a problem with your faucets, you need a plumber that knows what you need and how to fix it.
Drains clog over time. In kitchens, grease, soaps and more build up on the walls of the pipes and cause a blockage. In bathrooms, showers, tubs and sinks become clogged with hair and soap, and toilets can become clogged with toilet paper. When this happens, you need the help of a plumber experienced in drain cleaning.
If you've ever experienced a flooded basement, you already know how much damage it can cause. Even a small amount of water leaking into your basement can cause thousands of dollars in damage, not to mention hazardous mold and mildew growth. If your basement is at risk of flooding, a sump pump is generally considered to be the best safeguard.

I have worked with The Irish Plumber a few times; Mr. Ian did repairs at my home twice, as well as some of their other team members; and I can share my experience with you all: they are timely, clean, quick, knowledgeable, and when you call the main number, usually the owner Mr. Kieran answers the phone and goes over the issues with the customer – at some companies, you get to talk with a clueless person.

We've been going to the Irish Plumber for at least six years for our plumbing needs. They've fixed clogged pipes, put in a pressure regulator, replaced the house shut off valve, and replaced our water heater over the years. The prices are reasonable, they're punctual, professional, polite, and get the job done quickly. They've also offered helpful advice for taking care of our pipes, etc.

Positive: Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness
We've been customers for about 8 years. Every job they have done has been great. Yesterday our sink disposal failed. Ian came out the same day and in less than an hour the replacement job was done. These guys are real pros.

Returned home from Florida and found a spot on the ceiling of the pantry off the kitchen had expanded and felt damp to the touch. My worst fear was that we had a roof leak - but thought I ought to check the master bath whirlpool tub. Sure enough - small drip from cracked hot water braided feed line that I could see through the access panel. I put a drip pan under the leak and caught most of the water. Called The Irish Plumber - and got a call back in a few minutes. Described the problem and Ian showed up at our door a few hours later. He conducted a quick diagnosis, determined the non-standard

They were prompt, fixed my hot water heater & the technician was very nice. However, the price was really (REALLY!) high. It was a Friday afternoon & I had no hot water, so it wasn't exactly convenient to get multiple quotes. It cost $385 to replace the upper & lower thermostats in the heater. It was about $80 in parts & took the tech about 30 mins. So that's what, $600/hour in labor costs?

Just finished our second job with the Irish Plumber and wanted to share the praise they deserve. The first job was adding two frost-free exterior hose bibs with proper drain valves. The second was replacing a toilet. In both instances the team picked up the phone when we called, arrived on time, kept the place very clean, did a quality job, responded to questions, and stayed right on their quoted price. You can't really ask for more.

I have every expectation that the Irish Plumber will continue its honest and reliable operation with high marks for quality work and customer service.

I have an Irish name, live in Alexandria, in the Parkfairfax area, and needed a plumber. So, I read all the reviews and decided to try the Irish Plumber as it is a family business, and seemed to be a good, reputable company. Steve showed up and reviewed my kitchen sink, giving me his opinion, stating the pipes and garbage disposal are old (that's what Parkfairfax building are...old), and asked me if he should still do the service I requested....to snake out the kitchen sink. I admit the price was steep, and I had to ask for some help to cover the cost. But, I already had 2 weeks of enduring

Worst experience ever. A simple clogged sink should not cost $285.00 I sent him out before he continued cutting a financial artery. This business gauges customers in high income zip codes. Ridiculous price structure. He took my sink apart, fixed nothing and charged me for a.part he installed that doesn't even work.
Never ever use this company!

Competent and fairly priced - the Irish Plumber took on a small but somewhat pain in the neck job for me. They had to go on a hunt to match old Kohler faucets - it took a lot of time and trouble which I appreciate that very much. Plus, great wry sense of humor.

Had a great experience using The Irish Plumber. My pressure reducing valve was leaking and on the way out. It was causing excess pressure to the fixtures and appliances in the house, not to mention the small puddle I found on the floor in the laundry room.

Researched many different plumbing companies in the area and found many had decent amount of negative reviews on different sites. Not The Irish Plumber. That was the determining factor for me. Steve arrived within the promised time frame and was professional and knowledgeable. Steve replaced the pressure reducing valve and pointed out how it

I have yet to have them do any work for me but feel compelled to share what a fantastic operation these guys are. I moved into a house recently and found the cold water does not function in my shower. Reached out based on reviews to schedule a visit to see if they can fix it and started by getting an email to clarify. Several emails and phone calls invested thus far and really all for the purpose of making sure they can help me and at an appropriate cost. I have yet to give these guys a dime and they have already invested seemingly a ton of time and effort into making sure I am in a position

I've called the Irish Plumber for everything from replacing my hot water heater, to a leaky shower and leaking washing machine and finally to winterizing my 60 year old home.

The entire team is professional and the work is top notch. They are always on time, polite, and affordable. I have used other services where they vendor was late, left a terrible mess and over priced.

You won't experience any of this with The Irish Plumber. I believe in supporting local small businesses and it pays off!

The Irish Plumber did a great job at my house. The plumber showed me a couple things that should be taken care of now to head off a breakdown in the future. I really appreciate his care. Cleaned up his work area and left everything just as it was. Couldn't have had a better experience.
