Randy Long has over 25 years of fitness & weight training experience, and has competed successfully as a drug-free natural bodybuilder and Masters Olympic Weightlifter.

He is the Coach of 2 State Champion Olympic Weightlifters. He has written articles for the globally subscribed strength training publications MILO: A Journal for Serious Strength Athletes and The Dinosaur Files. Compared to machines or bodybuilding type isolation exercises, M.Y.O.B. training utilizes several muscle groups at once, raising the metabolic rate for increased fat burning.

An exercise program designed specifically to meet your fitness goals, taking into account your current fitness level, body type, and any pre-existing medical conditions. As you might imagine, a program for a 15 yr old male athlete and a 40 yr old overweight mom would need to be different. I have experience training both types of client, and will scale the program accordingly.
Diet without exercise will have you losing an equal amount of fat and muscle. After a while on restricted calories, your body will slow its metabolism, and actually burn as much muscle as fat. Doing strength training stimulates your body to not only BUILD lean tissue, but to keep the muscle you have.
Also, you are less likely to get injured if you are in good condition PRIOR to starting the competition season. But athletic coaches are not necessarily strength and conditioning coaches. At the pro and college level, this is obvious, as teams have their own strength and conditioning specialists. At the high school and junior high level, programs rarely have a designated strength and conditioning coach.
Olympic Weightlifting is the term used to describe the 2 lifts that are the only weight lifting movements contested at the Olympic Games. They are done with a rare combination of strength, speed, balance, and flexibility found in few other sports. In fact, in 1968, a group of researchers determined that of ALL sports movements, the one that required the most high level athletic traits was the Snatch!
Included among these tools are some diet tips and recipes. Most importantly, you will have access to the USDA Nutrition Database. This tool will give you the calories, protein, carb, and fat contained in any size portion of almost 7000 foods. Also, I will work with you on modifying your nutrition by having you keep a daily Food Log.

Randy @ Reality Workouts was able to get my husband to work out and enjoy it. That doesn't mean he wasn't aching afterward! Randy will use your own body to show you the proper way to get in shape. He keeps you accountable and motivated. Who could ask for more?
