I have been going there for years, ever since looking for natural dentist that was in my insurance network to remove my silver Mercury fillings and replace them with a natural alternative. That was 10 years ago and they are still working great. I've been going for regular checkups and teeth cleanings and have had a wonderful experience each time. I would highly recommend this dental office.

Love this type of dentistry. Dr C took out root canals that needed to go....safely. Grateful. Very caring office.

We loved them at first. Felt a huge connection and thought these people are great! Natural minded! We scheduled the whole family. Then an emergency came up and we needed to reschedule. Well that's when the issues began! They said we can not reschedule without a fee, a 60.00 fee! We said we didn't feel that was right as we had called 24 hours ahead of time, the husband Paul told us we had to call the Wednesday prior to our Monday Appt. not 24 hours, and that if we chose not to pay the fee for cancelling our appt, we could never come there again! Mind you, were new patients! And then said

After my sister went here and ended up needing a root canal on her treated tooth, and my moms visit ended with her tooth being shaved down too far, I was hesitant but decided to go for amalgam filling replacement. The first 20 min of my appt were spent trying to get a metal clamp around my tooth which wouldn't fit and ripped my gum. Eventually they clamped it onto my gum but I wanted to get things going so I tolerated the pinching pain. She replaced 3 amalgam fillings with composite and while I new the risk for root canal was there on one of my teeth, the only reason I continued is because

Calderon Family Dentistry is our preferred dentist. She is thorough and has experience with Type 1 diabetes, which was important to our family. We began working with them a few years ago as we were looking for a consultation after a second opinion and their candid honesty earned our business.

Scammers, My wife came here for a cleaning, "she gets all her cleanings for free with insurance" she was told it was free they called a week later saying we owe $123 saying the numbers were off? Like what? Thinking nothing of it we paid it, I needed work done later on so I went here all I got was an x-ray, They told me after my insurance I owed $350 ish payed it all and then was called saying the numbers were off I owed the same as the first time $123. This place will scam you at some point very dishonest in the billing department. Please go elsewhere.

My family has received exceptional care here. Dr. Calderon is very knowledgeable, honest and caring.
I've read bad reviews some people left and noticed, that all of them are associated with money. It saddens me that people who are not diligent to check their own insurance policy blame it on the business.
There is NOTHING shady about this business!! I am happy and actually proud that we have such a professional in Vancouver, WA.

Worst dental experience ever! I could barely breathe and when I asked if there was another way, they were less than sympathetic. I cancelled any further appointments and moved on. After 16 months I get a call saying there is a balance. I requested a mailed bill as I had received NOTHING prior to the call. They sent us to collections before the bill even arrived. After so research it seems there was a $20 balance my insurance didn't cover and they added $120 for "missed" appointments unjustly. Run, find a better Dentist, it won't be difficult.

I wish I could rate 0 stars! I went to this place and they insisted on dental x rays, the x rays they said were covered by my dental insurance because I told them I would not get them if they were not. 6 months later I got a $600 bill for these xrays, I've been paying on them as I can but due to Covid times are tough and they just sent me to… collections without any mailed notice at all EVER!
DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST, THEY ARE LIARS AND THEY HAVE NO HEART! THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT COVID-19 TAKING AWAY A FAMILIES INCOME, THEY JUST CARE ABOUT MONEY. WORST DENTAL OFFICE IN VANCOUVER OR IN WASHINGTON

Our family has gotten exceptional care from this biological dentist office. For the children and myself, it is just routine exams and cleanings. For my husband... he has quite a few challenges with his oral health. The biggest health battle of his life, thus far, was following a root canal done at a different local dentist's office (like many reviewers say 'dentists are on every corner'). He became extremely ill within three months, and Dr. Calderon is a large part of the reason he is so healthy today. He still has problems with his teeth and gums, but his care at this office

Frustrating. I would write a review however it is all the same thing as you can read in other reviewers.


I'm just going to stop doing business here, no compelling reason to stay here.

Shady, shady, SHADY when it comes to billing/office management. Paul (who is Dr. Calderon's husband, btw) will tell you he'll look into your insurance and let you know what they're covering, then never follow-up, and you'll get a huge bill. Something that would have been 100% covered elsewhere since it was preventative. Clearly this has happened multiple times before, based on the reviews. It's unfortunate, because I really liked the doctor and the hygienist. Good thing he has his wife to work for, would be hard to keep a job elsewhere when you treat patients that way.

First of all, all the support staff couldn't be more helpful!

Second, Dr Calderón has been the reason my health has been improving! When my wisdom teeth were taken out, 38 yrs ago, Dentists didn't know they had to tie off the ligament so the bone would heal or it would cause a 'Cavitation',She found I had rotten bone and mush in my jawbone when she was taking care of my root canal! Dentists told me I was grinding my teeth and I lived with this pain for many years. Not to mention, weakened immune system. She took a very fancy X-ray that showed me the Cavitations and the infections

I am very happy with the work she has done. Literally can not stop smiling. She has created my smile. Her application of advanced knowledge in naturopathic approaches are superior. Thank you.

I am a new patient on a very tight budget. I asked when I went in for my initial exam what I would be paying. They told me they would check with my insurance and get back to me. They called be the day of my appointment and told me that I was 100% covered. After services/appointment they told me I had $130 due. I was surprised and asked to speak with the office manager about payment in my husbands payday. He got really rude and unprofessional, told the two new office ladies "It's people like her who steal services don't schedule them again" as I walked out, and slammed the office

Out of the blue we too had our insurance dropped at this practice. Stated that the contractual rates had not increased. We were told that I was lucky they were giving me the same rate.. hmm this was on a self pay cleaning . Funny how they have no use for you once they decide to drop you.

Ugh. The problem with this office:
1. Office manager, Paul, is not cut out to handle running this office. No communication with patients regarding critical changes. (They dropped our insurance at least 8 months ago...never notified. Went in for routine cleaning and was still not made aware of the fact that they were no longer accepting our insurance.) Had to discover through our own investigation that we had an outstanding bill. Was NEVER notified by Calderon.
2. Zero professionalism. Husbands coworker, also a former patient of this office, notified us of these changes and explained that she also

My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Calderon for about 6-7 years and haven't had any major issues...until now, and it unfortunately has ruined our entire experience. Most of the dental work performed was routine cleanings so most of the interaction is with the hygienist. Dr. Calderon's husband, Paul, works in the office and seemed to handle administrative work so we certainly talked with him during most visits while we waited to be seen. With a scheduled cleaning arriving in two weeks, I was surprised to learn yesterday that their office doesn't "contract" with any insurance

Love these guys so much! Very knowledgeable practice and love the level of transparency from both the staff and the office manager Paul! I've been about 4 times now and have had great work done and the cleanings were a breeze. Prior to coming here I hadn't been in a long time and was frightened of hopping back in the chair because of bad practices I've been too in the past. No more, I've found my dentist !

After receiving care at the Vancouver VA on a tooth, I found it was causing me a lot of pain and my mouth didn't close properly I wasn't sure what to do, my whole family recommended Calderon Family Dentistry, and said I should have it looked at. Dr. Calderon not only made time to see me right away but saved my tooth, stopped the pain and corrected… my bite, best dental care I've ever had and saved me from further damage that would have happened if the VA's work wasn't corrected. Thank you Dr. Calderon and team I can eat again and the pain is gone. I would highly recommend Calderon Family

I HATE going to the dentist. I take extremely good care of my teeth and gums because I do not want to go there at all. Since we have relocated to Vancouver, I thought, "Hey, it's been seven years... maybe I should get a check-up." Yes, seven years!

The office was very calming and professional. It was well maintained and up-to-date. The staff were friendly and efficient. The dentist was warm, professional, diligent and kept you informed each step of the way. She also did a nice job of chatting & telling me about her experience, her family and her interests as she worked
